It is enough to break any man: watching what could have been my future slip away before it was ever in my grasp.
The possibility of losing someone I loved before she was even mine is something I never would have imagined. Certainly nothing I'd ever wish on anyone. I go to her every day and wait. Wait for the impossible, for a sign, for her to look at me...hoping that sinners are granted miracles, too.
Just one glimpse of him was all it took. In the next lane at a stoplight was the man I would fall in love with and marry. People talk about the kind of love that takes time, love you fall into. We were more like a crash and burn, and when our lives intertwined I would never be the same. He was the man I would cherish the rest of my life, who would father my children. In an instant our life together began, and in an instant it would end. The late nights; the excuses; the lies. And in the blink of an eye, it was like we never were.

I loved this book. Please tell me a sequel is coming. I never write reviews, but felt like I needed to let readers know this book is well worth every minute I spent listening to it.
Thank you, CMW
I loved the incredible plot twist Miss McGuire threw in,,,,
she remind me a lot of myself
brought the whole book full circle
yes and pretty much did :)
On several occasions I tried to listen to this book. Finally by chapter 6, over the span of a year, I had to stop.
Who are they? I still cannot even say what the book was about, who the main characters were, or what they were droning on about; the narration was just so incredibly bad.
Are they the narrators...The narration is just god-awful.
A person in a coma would wake up and scream for the readers to shut up!!!
I wish I could get my credit back but I had the book too long.
I love Jamie McGuire, her books take you through a roller coaster of emotions. However, I have mixed feelings for this book. It was good, sweet, romantic. But at the plot twist I was so shocked and confused that I stepped away for a few days. Overall the story was good but I'm not sure if it's worth listening/reading again.
The story line itself is mundane and it drags on to an ending that makes no sense. it got better to where i felt like i had to finish. But seriously what kind of ending is that!!
I have a love/hate relationship with this book....
LOVED the book but hated that I had to give it 5 stars instead of more! I admit the ending confused me a bit but overall it was a great book
Avery's voice is the absolute worst. So annoying and high pitched. Not to mention the male impersonations sounded like 80 year old men and not the 20 somethings they were supposed to be.
I love Jamie McGuire, but the narration was way off.
I liked the twists at the end, you guys kept me in suspense. I'm still in suspense. I disliked the narration, Guy's voice for females was awful and girl's narration of male voice was awful too (sorry to be blunt). Story was very good.
I wanted this book so bad and forgot that it had a hard end date for publication. It was confusing then oh wait aghast then the end. I am still like what?
I don't know if I would recommend this one I love Jamie McGuire and I'm left kinda like what.....
