Publisher's summary

The New York Times best-selling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player starts a brand new story of friends, love, and lust with Book One of the Wild Seasons series.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation - and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out - Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume - her sweet, filthy fling - to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Ansel is my book boyfriend!😍

🔘Accidentally Marriage
🔘Paris setting
🔘Role playing

💍💍💍
Mia is celebrating her college graduation in Vegas when crossed paths with Ansel Guillaume, a charming Frenchman. After a night of revelry and a few too many cocktails, Mia and Ansel find themselves waking up married. Unable to walk away from each other, Ansel suggested they spend the summer in Paris. Mia agreed, setting off on a spontaneous journey that had the potential to alter the course of their lives.

✨Thoughts✨
Is there a book that gives you butterflies in your stomach? One that makes your heart race and your cheeks flush? For me, that book is "Sweet Filthy Boy" by the dynamic duo, Christina Lauren. They really brought their A-game with this book. Their vivid description of Paris was just beautiful.

Ansel and Mia's love story is a delightful blend of romance and humor, with a chemistry that sizzles off the pages. It's as if I was right there with them, experiencing every moment of their blossoming relationship. Ansel is the perfect mix of charm and naughtiness, and the steamy role-playing scenes are just the cherry on top. This book has earned a permanent place in my heart, and I know it will become a favorite for anyone looking for a swoon-worthy read.

Overall, if you're searching for your next book boyfriend, look no further than Ansel - he's guaranteed to make you laugh, blush, and fall head over heels in love!

Let's take a moment to praise Shayna Thibodeaux for her exceptional solo narration. While I have a soft spot for Mia, Shayna truly nails Ansel's French accent perfectly.

Raunchy and Unbelievable

If you're craving escapism smut with very little other substance you'll love this. My first exposure to Christina Lauren was Holidaze and I wish they'd been more similar. The sex scenes are very well written but I craved more character development

Not good

I had to force myself to finish. It was so impossibly cheesy and there is so much s*x. Honestly too much, it seemed like that was all they had in their relationship. Everything resolves way too easily. I didn’t care for the female lead character. Her response to everything was “okay.” She didn’t have any personality. The female narration was bad too.

Great listen

Lovely story with wonderful narrations. The characters were fun and it was a good weekend book to get lost in.

Terrible book title, fun read!

Extremely 🔥🔥🔥 book with a fun plotline but lots of real life relatability. Did not like the narrator at all. Her inflections and tonality almost ruined it for me.

So well crafted - keeps your attention with views of Paris and Failing In Love

All of the characters make you fall in love with them. Even the peripheral characters who have their own books in this series. But this book is the most entertaining.

This wasn't a story. This was porn.

This wasn't a story; this was porn. Boring. Also, terrible narrator. I love Christina Lauren, but this book is nothing like the others ...just one sex scene after another, totally lacking a storyline or real character development. Such a disappointment.

Is this reader a joke?

Every sentence was like the first line of a bad joke from an overly sarcastic stand up comedian. Not a bad story at all. Awful pick for the voice telling it.

One of my favorite books!

I love both characters, the evolution of quiet Mia, the unveiling of the mysterious Ansel, the slight kink that helps them find each other… and themselves. I wish there was a follow up book to their story. I’d love to see what happens next.

Entertaining and sexy

Not really my favorite storyline but the more I got into it, the more I enjoyed it. The characters took awhile to grow on me. I love Lauren’s books so of course I will listen to the next in this series. Definitely a lot of good sex scenes!
