BARRETT LANDRY has it all.
Power, prestige, and plenty of women, the dapper politician's life is pretty phenomenal. But in the midst of the biggest campaign of his life, he needs to focus. The last thing he can afford is a distraction.
ALISON BAKER is a work-in-progress.
As a single mother to HUXLEY, she's rebuilding life on her terms. She's focused on family, faith, and a future for her son that can't be taken away. Putting her child first means not being careless, no matter what.
A chance encounter forces Barrett and Alison to redefine what they really want out of life. But everything comes at a cost ... and sometimes, even for love, it's a price too steep to pay.

Both are equally good.Sway is one of those books that offers a well written and narrated story.
The characters!!Allison is a wonderful smart, capable heroine. She is a single mother fighting to raise her son in the best way possible. I loved the principles she instilled in him. His ability to see people for who they are.Allison was hurt in the past and was reluctant to start a relationship and be vulnerable again, especially with a man in Barrett's position, but I was proud of her courage in following her heart and giving Barrett a chance.Barrett was a wonderful character. He is the kind of politician we want in real life. He had to fight to remain true to himself and his beliefs and didn't just have his eye on the end game. He wanted to get elected to make a difference to better people's life, and I admired him for it.Allison's son was another great character. He was mature for his age, had his mother's back and supported her decision to give Barrett a chance (even if he Barrett couldn't throw a ball to save his life).
Kai and Wen are fantastic narrators! They complimented one another and you actually feel you are part of the story. It's a dual narration at its best. Kai and Wen narrate ALL the chapters together and the story and characters come to life. I give them both 5 stars for narrating Sway.
I loved the moments between Allison and her son. I loved seeing him support her, his acceptance of Barrett and the whole Landry Family .I enjoyed Barrett's interactions with his mother. She supported him and encouraged him to follow his heart and gut.
No second thoughts ever. I was totally voting for Landry from the start the way he was with Alison. I loved everything about this book we were right there with Barrett as he was going through the process for running for Governor, and Alison was trying to stay out of the spotlight this time round. The whole Landry family were the family you wanted for yourself, all so welcoming and caring. Just like most stories there were some rough patches but to see how they get through it just put a smile on my face. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Grapes. Grapes. Grapes. Hashtag GRAPES.
That's what will stay with me hahaha
Grapes aside, very cute story! I actually had the pleasure of listening to the audio book of this. Wen & Kai's narration is on point. A fairly predictable story but very likable characters and lots of sexy time! Plus a plethora of hot Landry brothers I would assume will be the subject of upcoming books!
This is a 3.5 rating for me!
Amazing Love Story
I have and they are all amazing. Kai and Wen bring life to the characters that many other narrators do not bring.
Sway by Adriana Locke was a great book. Alison Baker is a single mother who's trying to rebuild life for her and her son. Barrett Landry is one of the biggest bachelor's in politics. I loved reading about their journey from chance encounter to love. This was a great read and I can't wait to read more by Adriana Locke. I recommend everyone to read this book.
Can someone say HOT!!!! Honestly he could have me anyway he wanted me. Another amazing performance by Kai&Wen coupled with a great book I can't seem to get enough!
N.Y. Times Bestselling Author
I love how no matter what book Kai Kennicott and Wen narrate, they always pull you into the story and you can't help but feel everything the characters are feeling. This book was no exception, in fact, this has become one of my favorite audiobooks and I will probably be re-listening to it very soon. I can listen to their southern voices all day long and never tire of them.
I know most people who've read or listened to the book would say the grape scene, which was completely hot. But, the most memorable moment for me was when Barrett finally decided to follow his heart.
I loved Alison and can I just say how much I loved Barrett. He had me swooning throughout the whole book.
I love Adriana Locke's stories. They're always so full of angst, but so happy she also finds a way to give the characters a happily ever after. The journey she takes you on is definitely a rollercoaster ride of emotions and I wouldn't have it any other way. Pair her writing with the amazing narration of Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross and you couldn't read a more perfect book.
#HotMayor meets #SingleMom is the making for a great story and Adriana Locke delivers . Adriana does the story of Barrett and Alison justice as she makes you feel the cat and mouse game that first happens between them and when they do get-together ... (HELLOOOOOO GRAPE SCENE !!!!) they can't really go on as a "normal " couple because of who he is . READ this to find out of the #problemsofherpast & #Pressproblems can be worked out or another notch on #Barrettsbelt
I love hearing the characters coming to life.Wen and Kai always bring something new to the table with every performance and again this did not disappoint.
I love the baseball field encounter classic
I love how they alway capture the essence of the character and are able to bring the character to life and that you never think this is like such n such book that they have previously narrarted
Book yes, not sure about the audio as I don't think the narrators did it for me,
First Adriana Locke`s book that I`ve listen to so I really can`t compare
See that is where my dilemma lays, Wen sounds like a radio/talk host and I`m not sure if they work together, for me anyway. I know they do a lot of work together and this is my 2nd audio with them both and it just doesn't click for me. They both have beautiful voices, so I`m not sure if its them together or just me.
Enjoyed the romance of it all, maybe if Barrent wasn't such a manwhore at the start of the book
