Surrender My Love is a USA TODAY best-seller.
The Bradens are a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.
Fall in love with Cole Braden in the Bradens of Peaceful Harbor. Hot, sexy, & wickedly naughty second cousins to the Weston, Colorado Bradens we know and love.
In Surrender My Love:
Annalise "Leesa" Avalon never realized that one sentence could change her life until one of her students revealed his crush - and within 24 hours she finds herself under fire. After a grueling investigation that turns her life upside down, she steals away to Peaceful Harbor, Maryland, with a new identity to try to pull herself back together and figure out her next step.
From the outside, Cole Braden lives a charmed life. He's a top orthopedic surgeon with a thriving practice, strong family ties, and friends he adores. But there's a lonely spot inside Cole that no one can see. He has an enormous heart - and a painful past - but the desire to love and be loved is too strong to ignore.
A chance encounter brings Leesa and Cole together, and the attraction is immediate and intense. But a relationship is the last thing Leesa needs - and the only thing Cole wants. Long talks, heated moments, and deep connections are hard to resist, but the harder Cole tries, the more Leesa pulls away. Cole might truly be the right man for Leesa, but is Leesa the right woman for him?

Yes, once I was able to get into the rhythm of the reader's cadence and understanding when he was talking as a male/female or narration I really loved the story.
Cole Braden - be still my heart! What a wonderful man, he falls hard and fast for Leesa and you will not be disappointed. They both seem to bring out the best in each other. And how can you not fall for a guy who gives his woman as many "firsts" in one date and actually brings in his family to help him.
YES! I used the audiobook to work out with and it made me actually want to work out longer.
This is another great addition to the Love in Bloom family - Melissa Foster never disappoints. If I were to get injured I can say that I would definitely want Dr. Braden to take care of me.
This was an amazing audio book. I'm new to the audible world and this book helped me escape my world and enter the Braden world. The narrators smooth voice really brought the inflections of the characters to life. Although I envisioned Cole to have a deeper voice, it was still smooth as butter and swoon worthy. When the characters switched the story truly came to life. It was hard to believe it was the same person reading the story. I just fell in love with Cole and Leesa again and again, it was such a touching and sensitive story the author really gave these characters deep and meaningful backgrounds and story lines. It's one of the reasons I love the series, it's always so unique and leaves me feeling like I secretly am a part of their lives. Leesa encounters a fear that any adult helping a child in need these days faces and Cole the alpha protector he is, lovingly supports her and pushes for the desire to culminate this relationship further. I fall in love with more Braden men than I think I'm allowed to but it's my secret indulgence...thank you Melissa for yet another fabulous romance story.
The ease the narrator had between characters and the inflection for actions and feelings each portrayed.
yes Healed by Love...that was amazing as well.
Surrender never felt so good
This audio book was so good. It ranked very high on my list of books I listened to.
I loved the story line of the teacher struggling to come to terms with finding her way after horrible accusations and finding her way to find love.
I love the scene where she tells him about being a teacher and having the boy accuse her of making moves on him.
I am still very new to Audible and audio books, but this books was extremely well done!
I previously listened to and reviewed Healed by Love, also by Melissa Foster. Same great narrator!
He brings the characters to life so well! He gets and holds your attention throughout and makes you not want to stop listening!
Love Can Conquer Even the Toughest of Hurdles...
Cole and Leesa's story was absolutely FANTASTIC!. Leesa has been through a lot and was accused of a terrible thing at work and comes to Peaceful Harbor to get away and figure out what she needs to do next.
I read the Kindle version, and also listened to the audible version. The narrator did a great job of bringing the characters to life, and the chemistry to the love scenes. Hot hot hot! Well done!
I love to hold a book while I read but the audio does give you more insight into the character.
When Cole stands up for Leesa when she confronts her student.
Melissa Foster books always make me laugh out loud and cry like a baby.
Melissa Foster delivers a well-planned story that drew me in and wouldn’t let go. Cole is a doctor and workaholic who fall in love with Leesa, a girl he meets at the local coffee house. Leesa is a teacher by heart, who has left the profession after an accusation destroys her reputation, even though it was false!
Cole and Leesa are both wary of love, yet they are quickly together. Leesa worries that her past may hinder Cole’s practice, even as she forgives her accuser. Forgiveness leads to healing, and then Leesa can surrender her heart to the man she has come to love.
I enjoyed the auction, and I enjoyed Cole’s compassion for his young patient. Melissa Foster does know how to write multi-faceted characters with family at the center.
I listened to an audio-version of this story. The narrator, BJ Harrison, did a good job with the voices, especially the female voices. He captured the story well.
If you enjoy happily-ever-afters, this is a good one!
This was a great romance with lots of heart and lots of steam! It is also a small town romance where everyone cares about everyone else and tend to stick their noses in where they don't belong. The best and worst of small town life. I do love the setting.
This is the story of Cole and Leesa. Cole is a Braden with lots of family for backup when things get tough, but he tends to bury himself in his medical practice instead of relying on them. Leesa basically has no one and things have been pretty tough for her lately. Cole steps in and provides the support that is so lacking in her life. It turns out that he fills every void in her existence with lots of love and heat. As she works to right the wrongs in her life, Cole turns his back on her. Will he come to realize that she is his everything as well? Can they work it out, or will one more betrayal be more than Leesa can handle?
The story was great and the narration by B.J. Harrison is spot on, as always (he's so easy on the ears!.).
I was given this audio book for free in exchange for an honest review.
Smooth as silk! That describes the voice of BJ Harrison as he narrates Melissa Foster's Surrender My Love. In this wonderful Braden book Cole and Leesa find their happily ever after at the end of Leesa's journey through a terrible situation. Leesa is falsely accused of something that even though it is false it effectively brings an end to her career and hometown life. I found BJ Harrison's voice to be quite calming, supportive and soothing as he was saying Cole's words. In true Melissa Foster fashion, another 5 star romance.
What an amazing story of love, honesty, friendship, trust, warmth and courage. I love the characters Melissa Foster creates. B. J. Harrison is a brilliant narrator, with a voice like chocolate sauce - so smooooth - he coats the listener in relaxation and comfort, and draws you into the story. I am hooked on "The Bradens", and will be listening to lots more!
I love listening to BJ Harrison read to me. He has the perfect cadence and voice for these sexy Braden stories. I find myself losing myself in his voice and the story.
Just the thought of the Braden family makes me smile and blush. Cole Braden just adds to that blush and smiles. He is sweet, sexy, and so wonderful. Then enter Leesa, with two e’s. His amazingness just grows with every interaction between the two of them. While Leesa’s entire life has been turned upside down all with the words of one little boy, Cole has had a stable life with a wonderful set of parents and many siblings. Cole brings stability and safety to Leesa’s world. I am not sure that I have ever met a character that was so understanding and patient.
The setting of Peaceful Harbor is definitely one of my favorites. The seaside town, the wonderful neighborhood, and the amazing people is wonderful. There is a small town feel without it being overwhelming. People watch out for each other and yet respect the privacy of each other. I love how close the families are and how easy they protect each other.
While Treat (Lovers at Heart) is still my favorite Braden, Cole is a very close second. If you have not checked out this series you are seriously missing out. The nice thing about this series is that you do not have to read them in order. The characters make appearances in each other’s book but each book is it’s own story complete with an ending.
