From the zestful tale of the mistress of a manor masquerading as a servant girl - and its surprising consequences - to the story of a love that blossoms at a royal birthday fete, here's a collection of romantic summer regencies sure to delight. Stories include "The Summer of Discontent" by Marion Chesney, "Lady Fair" by Cynthia Bailey-Pratt, "A Summer's Folly" by Sarah Eagle, and "Tides of Love" by Melinda Pryce.

All but one was very good. I love Lindy Nettletons reading style. Classic boy meets girl in Regency style

It gives the listener a chance to experience the writing styles of four different authors. MC Beaton was my favorite.

Other collections have stood out more. These are fine to have playing in the background, but not memorable. I generally like Lindy Nettleton, but she gave us a few high squeaky ones this time.
