Sherrilyn Kenyon's most highly anticipated novel in the Dark-Hunter series since Acheron is here - the unforgettable story of Styxx, Acheron's twin brother and one of the most powerful beings on Earth. Just when you thought doomsday was over…
Centuries ago Acheron saved the human race by imprisoning an ancient evil bent on absolute destruction. Now that evil has been unleashed and it is out for revenge. As the twin to Acheron, Styxx hasn’t always been on his brother's side. They've spent more centuries going at each other's throats than protecting their backs. Now Styxx has a chance to prove his loyalty to his brother, but only if he's willing to trade his life and future for Acheron's.
The Atlantean goddess of Wrath and Misery, Bethany was born to right wrongs. But it was never a task she relished. Until now. She owes Acheron a debt that she vows to repay, no matter what it takes. He will join their fellow gods in hell and nothing is going to stop her. But things are never what they seem, and Acheron is no longer the last of his line. Styxx and Acheron must put aside their past and learn to trust each other or more will suffer. Yet it's hard to risk your own life for someone who once tried to take yours - even when it's your own twin. And when loyalties are skewed and no one can be trusted, not even yourself, how do you find a way back from the darkness that wants to consume the entire world? One that wants to start by devouring your very soul?

"The things in this world doesn't matter, only the people...". These beautiful works are just a few of the many wonderful words written in this book. This book is one of my all time favorites and will take you through a roller coaster of emotions. Love it ❤️❤️❤️
Yes and no. I love the feel of books but with this story it came alive with the audible.
His brother Ash's story of course
I enjoyed the scenes with him and the dog since he actually had a simple joy in his life. It may not be may fav but I was happy for him
Can you say the whole book!
This is a must read/listen. It is wonderful
I didn't want to like it. Acheron was previously my favorite book by this author and I wanted to continue to loathe the main character of this book because of what he did to Acheron. There are definitely 2 sides to every story tho and S.K. drives that fact home with this masterpiece.
No I felt as if I were listening to all of the others
Same old same old
Not unless it easy on lifetime
wow, I am well into this series and more impressed with Sherrilyn Kenyon's writing with each book. This particular book had my heart breaking and much more tears than I would want from a book, even to the point of my saying "Enough already", not knowing if I could continue listening. However, so glad I did! So I promise Kenyon's kickass ending makes it's worth the tears. Of course, most of the emotions are generated from the great voice of Fred Berman - hats off to his performance! Looking forward to the next book,..downloading now :)
Didn't think that I would enjoy listening to books versus reading but I must admit I am now ADDICTED!!
Loved this story I'm so glad we got to hear this story from Styxx point of view, I didn't want to believe that Styxx was as bad as ge seemed from Acherons point. I'm glad they finally got to see each other as it really was this was a great book I definitely recommend if you were upset with Styxx.
