Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
Obvious with the Summary of this book you know you are in for a romp. It was fun and light hearted, not to be taken serious at any time. There was also a side story going on so it had two romances happening during the book. The narrator did go a little over board with the southern accent, but since I'm not from there it didn't bother me too much. I would probably read from this author again when I’m looking for a quick get away from life. If you like this kind of book try author Susan Andersen.
This was a very entertaining story. At times I found myself laughing out loud or smiling. Yet at times it was serious.
It makes you realize the power of our own minds and hearts. Our hearts and our minds do not always want the same thing.
Just a bunch of fast forwarding through porno scenes. Not my thing. Otherwise, it could have been a nice love story. Not really my first choice either, but it was on sale and I was looking for something quick.
No. This story sounds like it was written by a sex craved 16 year old. The writing is horrible and the story line even worse.
Take out the goffy teenager sexual references.
No, I listened for about an hour and was even fast forwarding through parts hoping it would get better. Finally gave up and trashed it.
A teenager might like it, but really should use their time reading something of substance.
This story, which I thought was going to at least be somewhat funny is really, really just bad. It's not the least bit believable. I can't make myself finish it - ugh! Note to the author - try using some words besides "babe" and "baby"... good grief - enough already with those two words!
Ok, so it is supposed to be funny, but it should still have some believability. Add the fact the narrator is horrid. I've lived in Atlanta and less than 1% of the people I've known from there have accents like that. Certainly not the educated ones.
I've always judged people that leave horrible reviews, thought It was unnecessary thought if you didn't like the book fair enough, explain why. There's no need to trash it. But this book is book is really awful, and I just feel like it's my duty to warn you because someone's given it 5 stars.
I mean I like cheesy books, I don't mind it being predictable, most of the times it's what I'm looking for, a predictable, happy, funny, light hearted romance. This is not that, I think it try's to be but overdoes every cliche. I can honestly say this is the worst book I've ever read/listened to. (I know that's harsh and I feel bad writing it but it's the truth)
