Good story, bad narrator

This book had a good storyline and really likable characters. The biggest distraction for me was the narrator. She often made her characters sound like children rather than adults, and that made some of the erotic subject matter a bit disturbing. But the book itself was very enjoyable.

I laughed a couple times. I can understand why women go to these extremes but it's just crazy to me. I was totally engaged throughout the entire read.

Overall, great book. Sub-characters were interesting too. Nice ending.

Provocative Read

I've read a few other Megan Hart books and really enjoyed them. The storylines are provocative and the characters are complex and interesting. In Stranger, Grace, a funeral director, prefers to hire male escorts rather than deal with the complications of a real relationship. The book follows Grace and her relationships with two men, Jack, a young male escort, and Sam, a man she sleeps with, mistakenly thinking he is her male escort. The sparks fly between Grace and both these men, each encounter teasing and erotic. By the end of the book, Grace's character does grow and lessons about life and love are learned. Stranger was definitely an interesting read, one I found hard to put down!

Great Plot, Decent Narration

Stranger was not my first romance nor my first Megan Hart book. I have only recently started listening to romances, but I did overall enjoy Stranger. I have to admit that it was a interesting plot when I read the summary, something that I had never heard of and I honestly wasn't for sure that it would work, especially with some steamy scenes mixed in between. However, it turned out quite well and I found it hard to stop listening. Stranger kept my full attention, especially in how Grace dealt with her complicated relationships between the two men, Jack and Sam. As for the narration, at times, the male voices didn't seem too believable and they even have the tendency to sound the same or childish. Yet, I quickly grew accustomed to the narration. It certainly didn't distract me from the actual plot of the book like some other audio book narrations have. I would definitely recommend Stranger to someone who has read some of Hart's stuff before, though I wouldn't say that it is her best.

Amazing as always.

As always Ms. Hart did an amazing job. The characters are fascinating, the story intense and very emotional. Her books are must have's every single time.

I can never finish a Megan Hart book

Again, great premise - it just stalled halfway for me. I wish I could read her stuff because there is so much to appreciate about it.

LOVE IT

SEXY, FUN, DRAMATIC. I have had this book for awhile and listene to it a few times. I really like Megan Harts books and this one is definitly worth it.

Make sure nobody can hear your headphones...

Some parts of this are pretty steamy and explicit, but they are woven into developed charaters and a plot. Great choice for people who like good stories, with throbbing members!
