Publisher's summary

I've hated him since middle school.

The effortlessly popular lacrosse superstar--beautiful, blue-eyed nightmare Emerson Sawyer. Funny thing is he didn't even know I existed until our senior year, when his mom started hooking up with my dad. Now he torments me in the hallways, calling me "sis" whenever he gets the chance, relishing in the fact that I can't hide my blushing whenever he's around. Even though I can't stand him, my body betrays me--and he loves it.

Emerson and his mom just moved in with us, and as if crushing on him weren't weird enough, now our bedrooms share a wall. The sexual tension keeps building between us, but I know nothing can ever happen...especially now that our parents are engaged. I try to tell myself that I hate him, that he's wrong for me, that we'll never be together....

So why did I agree to play Seven Minutes in Heaven at his girlfriend's high-school party? And why does Emerson suddenly have my panties in his hands?

Stepbrother Billionaire is a standalone audiobook. It contains adult themes, harsh language, and graphic sexual content.

Good story. Terrible reader

It was great how Emerson and Abby found each other twice and ended up together despite their hardships. This book would have been so much better if the reader hadn't been racing to the end. Going more slowly, having pauses, using more expression would have made this book so much better.

Did she even take a breath!

I DNF after chapter 1. Worst narrator. Read the book. It's not a sprint. How did she even breathe? Wow

Not mad at it

The story wasn't bad, I did want to see more develop in the second half... The narrator never changed voices or cadence for the characters when they grew up so they always sounded like teenaged. Didn't care for that.

very disappointing , Bad listen

bad audio recording it felt like it was on fast play. the narrator voice was not bad but she reads the story in such a fast clip that it's hard to get into the story. so not worth a credit. it had potential to become a good listen.

Dear Narrator, slow down

What would have made Stepbrother Billionaire better?

This book may have been better if the narrator would have slowed down. Eli read this story to fast.

What was most disappointing about Colleen Masters’s story?

I didn't go into this expecting a solid 5 star rea, but I thought it'd be a good 3 star. With this said, my issue is not with Colleen, but the narrator. Colleen delivered s simple , straight foward easy listen.

Would you be willing to try another one of Eli Walker’s performances?

Maybe to find out if she always reads on high speed

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No, I couldn't finish the story.

I felt like I was on speed.

The story is a good love story of having found the love of your life twice. But the narrator was horrible. I felt like she was rushing through the entire thing didn't take a breath like she was trying to rush through the story. And when you lower the speed on your phone it drags her words out but not in a good way so there was no way to slow it down.

Really?

Ok so this book drove me insane! The beginning was so rushed that you felt that the main characters couldn't have really known each other at all, making the rest of the book complete and utter rubbish. Come on authors develop your characters please.

It's a real shame because the story idea was nice with two troubled teens who are forbidden to be together due to family circumstances and troubles, getting a second chance later in life to make their dreams come true.....unfortunately the writing was juvenile (sorry but it was) and the plot was shaky throughout, and I just didn't like any of the characters because they were so underdeveloped

The narrator has a nice voice but she seemed to speed talk some of her way through the book, so much so that I actually checked to make sure I'd not increased the narration speed by accident.

I suppose I've read worse but I don't feel I can recommend this book....this book needs a good editor and a complete rewrite.

Good Book Narrated Destroyed it

How could the performance have been better?

The book was good, but the narrated did not do this book justice. It was read to fast. I could not even finish listening to this book because of that. She needs to maybe read the book first and then go back and read it normally. It was like she was in a race to do this.

Horrible Audio!!!

Please take my advice and DO NOT waste a credit or even money on this book. The audio is way too fast and it sounds like one run-on sentence. The narrator did not even breathe between chapters. I slowed it down in an attempt to listen and it was skipping horribly.

I rarely give negative reviews, but I thought it was my duty to let listeners know. And besides the audio being bad, the story is completely cheeseball as well. I might have overlooked this and listened anyway, but I just couldn't get past the audio.

Horrible!

Any additional comments?

Seriously this is how I felt after listening to a horrible audiobook- the editing sucked, the narrator talked like 100 miles an hour, and lets just say, the cover of this book is nothing like the book?.. Most of the book he was 18 years old, no 18 year looks like that. Emerson was a Stepbrother for like 2 seconds.. okay so really not a valid name for a book- and billionaire?! Not even close.
