wonderful

I read the book prior to listening to the audio. The audio enhanced the experience. The reader did a fantastic job with the male voices, tone of the book, accents and emotion. My only complaint would be his female voices were only fair. They sounded ditzy, but he did such a good job otherwise I would listen to him again.

I am a reader and a Librarian--Personally I find all of Karen Marie Monings books an escape that I look forward to reading. I fly through each book only wishing it wouldn't end. Her books have a balance of plot, character development, adventure, action, and sex to keep you interested and wanting more. Excellent!

Other Karen Marie Moning Highlander books. Series is great. Audio books can stand alone or listen in order. Once you hear one, you'll be hooked.

Can't say enough about Phil Gigante's narration.. I look for books narrated by him now.

I like each book in the series better than the last...or the same? It's all a blur. A nice, long, complex blur. Plot is interwoven with past books. Some synopsis is included, but would be a bit empty if you hadn't read all the others. The build up/flirtation leading up to the first love scene(s) is masterful in all the books. I had to giggle about the ridiculous mirror-in-the-car scene though - a bit emasculating for the ancient Scot.

Great story and EXCELLENT narrator!

I read the book previously and loved it. The audible version was so good it blew me away. I'm looking at buying the rest of the series, if it is the same narrator.

Where does Spell of the Highlander rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I loved this book, it was funny, touching and had scorching hot love scenes. I have not been much on the Highlander books involving druids and such because it just didn't interest me but let me tell ya! This series of books is unbelievable and they just keep getting better!! I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Great narrator!

One of my favorites in the series. The narrator is excellent! A little too romantic at times... but that's kind of the point of these books right? A great guilty pleasure read!

I have listened to this series many times and I love Karen Morning! Parts of this particular book just annoy me almost past endurance! She keeps referring to Cian as "their ancestor" but it says that he never had kids and was striken from the records. He never had kids! He cannot therefore be "their ancestor"!!
