This is the perfect book to listen to when doing housework. Light, breezy and fun.
If a friend were in the market for something light, then yes.
Yes, I enjoyed Liz's reading of Darkwood Manor which is why I purchased this book. I enjoyed her voice and she does a good job. Very confident, which is perfect for the lead character.

This book was a no go for me, it was so unrealistic that I knew it was unrealistic it didn't even have the hot and steamy love affair I love to listen too. When I listen to a book I like to loose myself and in this book I was all to aware that it was not keeping my attention. After I realized it was chapter 20 and I still couldn't get into it I just skipped to the point. Even the epilogue sucked. This book was like watching the Expendables movie with Sylvester Staloane, minus all the cool action scenes but it has the same stupid plot.
I really enjoy Elle Kennedy's stories. The narrator was a woman but she did a good job portraying the male characters and the variety of characters. I would listen to her read a book again!
