As the personal assistant to the owner of one of the top engineering firms in Denver, Tiffany Brooks has worked hard at maintaining a professional facade, intent on ridding herself of terrible habits - like her attraction to bad boys. But when the owner of DC Construction rides his chopper into her world two years after their one-time anonymous sexual encounter, everything turns upside down.
Declan Cage is the type of guy who makes a lasting impression, especially with women, yet the gorgeous assistant at Stoub Engineering never remembers his name - or does she? Intrigued by her game, her sexier than sin body, and an infuriating prissy attitude, Ms. Brooks is begging to be taken into hand, and he's the man to do it.
Armed with the knowledge Declan doesn't recognize her, will Tiffany give in to her desire for him yet again, or will her past come back to haunt them both and ruin their chance at something real?

If you're looking for a book that intertwines drama with romance, this is the book for you. Every chapter will keep you engaged. The sex scenes are hot and enjoyable, they don't take over the story, but they leave you feeling satisfied. The title is a bit misleading since there isn't really a bad boy and I can only recall 1 short spank scene. Despite that, this book has romance, sex, and a storyline that will submerge you in different emotions.
As far as the characters go, Declan is a dominant guy who is handsome, tall, muscular, and tattoed. He has a sweet but firm side to him and makes Tiffany feel nothing but desired every time they are together. Tiffany is a woman who oozes with sexiness, but is hesitant when it comes to men and relationships because of dark past experiences. They have undeniable chemistry and the author easily shows that throughout the chapters.
London knows how to write a good love story and definitely makes the reader want a relationship like Declan and Tiffanys. Heck, by the end of the book you'll be wanting a Declan of your own! I'm glad I listened to the narration since it helped the book come to life (especially the sex scenes). The audible version is like having Declan read it to you. You won't regret listening to it.

I want to start out by stating, don’t be fooled by the title of this book. It’s not some deep, dark, BDSM story. And while there are a couple of really hot scenes with some spanking involved, Spanked by the Bad Boy isn’t a piece of sexy fluff without a story line either. The author’s style of writing drew me in from the start. There’s humor, sadness, a trouble past, suspense, romance, I mentioned hot scenes, action, and a twist I didn’t see coming.
Is the hero a bad boy? Perhaps we see some glimpses of a bad boy, but he’s more of an alpha male with a heart of gold. I got the feeling as I listened to the story I was "seeing"
Declan at a time in his life where he was more settled and had found the right woman. Those bad boy charms which were hinted at didn’t fully come into play, and that’s okay. I can tell you he’s one tasty character. I also really liked the heroine. Even though she’s the survivor of a horrible abusive past, she’s not one of those characters who becomes nothing but a shell of a woman because of that past. She’s smart, sexy and sassy, and knows where all her quirks stem from and why. Together, Declan and Tiffany had some great chemistry.
What did I think about the narration of this story? One word comes to mind. Tremendous. John Thrust has one of those voices. Sexy, low, and sexy. You know. He’s got the “it” factor. The man read the heck out of this story. Great tempo, feeling and inflection, and the way he read the steamy parts were delicious.
Kudos to both the author and the narrator for making Spanked by the Bad Boy a really great listening experience. I’m looking forward to the next book in the Bad Boy Fever line up.
