Loved it

I didn’t think I like this story. Because I love James’s reading style, I decided to give it a try. He did not disappoint. I loved the story too. I gave the performance four stars for James. I would’ve rated five but female voice was annoying. Thank goodness for James, I wouldn’t have finished if it was not for him.

good, but more background information

would have been nice. How did Cassie 's parents know to go to the Bratva. Did everything just go back to normal after Sergei. Does Andre keep working to keep them in the style they are accustomed. common trope lately, Damaged older man meets young woman who loves him and they live HEA. But for what it is it was a cute, quick read. I would read another from series.

This is a pretty good seriers. I love that the hardened hitman is so gentle and protective toward his wife. Makes my heart melt.

Heartwarming story

Yes this is a mafia story but at it's core a wonderful story of perseverance, hope and love. I am now anxious to read more from these authors.

Fast paced & addictive!

I have been meaning to read SOLD TO THE HITMAN in what feels like forever, and I am kicking myself for not doing this sooner!!! This is my first Alexis Abbott book and WOW, I was blown away!!! This story was fast paced and highly addictive! It is one of those books that you race through wanting to find out what happens, and yet wanting to slow down to savour every single word!!

I fell in love with the dark and dangerous Andrei - he was such a contradiction- a ruthless cold hitman, and yet a gentle and tender husband to Cassie. I was swooning over his pure and primal instinct to protect her at all costs! And Cassie was the sweetest heroine ever ! I loved seeing the world through her naive and innocent eyes! In a nutshell, this story captivated me from start to finish, and had me wanting more!

I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did an outstanding job! Lauren Sweet emoted perfectly as Cassie, her innocence was so evident in the way Lauren narrated. And James Cavenaugh did so well with the Russian accent. This was such a great audio to listen to!

Great book

This is a exciting adventure/ romance. Lots of action and movement in the story, lots of romance and hotness. Well written with flawed but redeeming characters trying to do some good in a hard world. I really enjoyed it and it had an HEA.

Love it.

I thought this would be really dark but its not and super good.
You will grow to dislike her parents very much in this book.

The Female Narrator Was Horrible

I enjoyed the story and James Cavenaugh's narration, but Lauren Sweet ruined the story for me. She sounded like a 14 year old child. If it were not for Mr. Cavenaugh's sexy Russian accent, I would have stopped listening. If I could, I would give his performance 10 stars and Sweet's performance a zero.
