Publisher's summary

Dannie Marino is hiking with colleagues when a sudden blizzard separates her from her group. She's rescued by Lee, a dangerously sexy stranger who leads her to a remote cabin to weather the storm.

When the night inevitably ends in an intense erotic encounter, Dannie is both shocked and liberated by her response. But being intimate means letting herself be vulnerable, which isn't her style. Lee tries to reach out to her, but she avoids any emotional entanglement by pushing him away.

Snowed in and unable to hide from each other, Dannie and Lee must both face up to their most closely guarded emotions. When the storm abates, will they be able to stop running from the past and live fully in the future?

The story has potential, the narrator does not...

This story was good. Considering how short it, the romance was well developed. The title is perfect because it sums up almost the whole story. If you're in the mood for a short, sexy romance, then this is the book for you.

Narrator: Zoe Hunter should go to narrator school. This book (specially the love scenes) were read like an instruction manual. Not good. A narrator like Susan Bennett would have made that snow melt in an instant!

Deep emotions and sex in perfect harmony

I was not expecting such a well written story line with long and nice passage of emotional banter, grief and shared joy. it work as a perfect backdrop to the many moments that it all seamlessly ventured into a sexual romance. feels like you really want to read more from the author, in any genre. narrator was just pwrfect, present emotional but not to much. a very nice reading experience.

Light and hopeful.

This novella was by an author I had not heard of, and so I was pleasantly surprised at how my emotions were tugged at even though the story was light and simple. For me, there was an unexpected twist, and a lovely hopeful ending.

Also, I liked the cover photo of the couple out in the snow, wrapped in a tartan blanket – so sweet!

I thought the narrator did a fine job of all the voices.

Recommended if you are after a short, sexy listen.

Could be a good one

Could be good but too much cussing. It’s not needed for a good story.
Taken them out, good story
