"The last was not the best"

I did as others suggested and listened to all of Lisa Kleypas books in order. The first two were much better than this one. I am with the others that the narrator is bad and she probably had a lot to do with why this one didn't seem as good. As far as the story, I didn't like this one because the female lead character was too weak. She let her mother run her over, sister run her over and I didn't like her. The romance was sweet but I still think the first book was the best. The story of Liberty and Gage was much better than Jack and Ella.

    "disappointed"

The story had its moments but the explicit sex became boring and unnecessary.

    "Great story"

I loved this book. It took a while for me to get used to the narrator, but the story was great.

    Story
    "s"

This is my first Lisa klaypas. I found this novel to be similar to 50 shades books ...but, without the overtly kinky (honestly, they actually had little), better writing and with a much better storyline. Considering the popularity of those books, I can't imagine I have never heard of this author before. I looked her up and wow where have I been.

Not wanting to repeat the summary - because it's sufficient an accurate, I will say that it's a plausible story with lots of steam and a story that will keep you hanging on to the end.
