Intense. Devoted. Protective.
Michael Sloan is all of the above, with a hard, tough edge to boot. He's not the guy he used to be. Years ago, before all the s--t went down, he was laidback, carefree, and even happy-go-lucky.
Life changed him. Hardened him.
There's one woman though who can break down his walls. Someone who knew him then. Who can reach inside to that heart he protects fiercely, because she's the only one he ever gave it to. When they collide, it's tender and savage, gentle and rough, and makes them both hungry for more of this electric, once-in-a-blue moon kind of sexual chemistry. But it's a battle of wills between Michael and the woman he loves, with words and emotions held close to the vest.
She doesn't believe she can ever move on from her own heartbreak, but when Michael makes her feel for the first time in years, it's both thrilling and scares the hell out of her, setting off all her flight instincts. He's determined not to lose her again, but he'll have to learn to let her in if he ever wants to fully heal from the past.
The problem is, she knows something about the night his family shattered. She has the missing puzzle piece, but neither one of them realizes it, yet.

I did not enjoy this installment of the series. not sure if it was the narrator or the story or perhaps both. just did not work for me. still looking forward to Mr. O and am praying it is worth the wait.
Michael Sloan, he is the oldest of the Sloan siblings. Looking after his brothers and sister ever since their family got torn apart. All he wants is for them to be happy and find their way. But what's about himself? He once was happy, a long time ago, when he was with Annalise. But a lot has happened since then. He's moved on, right?
And then he receives a letter. A letter that could change everything.........a letter so riveting, inviting, exciting...............and so an adventure begins.
This is a compelling addition to this series. A lot of questions you had are being answered. The truth finally revealed. Michael's persistence has a lot do with it. Not only will he captivate you with his absolute incredible sexiness but also with his sensibility when it comes to his first ever love Annalise.
I fell in love with these two characters from the first chapter. Their sensuality, sexuality and chemistry is mind blowing and has you captivated until the end. A wonderful addition to this series❤️ Josh Goodman is the perfect Michael. I loved the narrating.
Would have been better with a female narrator with French accent for the female role. Story dragged but all the loose ends were neatly tied up. Too bad Mindy and John Winston didn't have more of a story.
Loved the whole series, but this was a wonderfully exciting wrap up that ties together several story lines....oh, and so sexy too! Highly recommend the whole series.
Beautiful, sexy and brave
There are so many. The reunion, the salvation, the moment of truth! So many!
Josh did an amazing performance. He did great with the 4 audiobooks of the series, and even though my fav performance was in Sinful Longin, he did perfect for Michael and Annalise's story.
I cried, oh my god, did I cry. This book had several POV and each memory from the past touched my heart and broke it in a thousands million pieces. But it also made me happy and excited and I was on edge in the moment of truth! This book was amazing and the audiobook was a great way to relive it.
All in all, Sinful Love was an amazing book, perfect love story and perfect conclusion for the mystery of the Sloan Family. 200% recommended.
hate to say I'm hopeless romantic. I'm also realistic, funny, straight forward. Enjoy a good gripping audible book to take me away.
I decided I had to listen to this book. Its my third time. The story was Good, but way too too long. I hate to say it but Josh Goodman didn't bring the story to life for me.
The family story mixed with Michaels own love story .
Any of Lauren s Sinful series books or Seductive Nights series because they have great love with a twist of suspense .
When they are together again after so long apart .
I LOVE this great series by Lauren that is full of love , hotness and a twist of suspense through the entire series . I 'm so sad to see this series end and I hope that we will hear from the #SLONEfamily in the next spin off :)
Oh Micheal Slone as the oldest of his two brothers and one sister he is the protector of the family . As he is trying to unravel the mystery in their father 's murder case he reconnects with Annalise "the one that got away ". She lives in Paris and he lives in Vegas can and has love survived all these years , across oceans , marriages , and hook ups ? Can it be rekindled and can it turn sinful ? Read this book as well as the entire series if you haven't - ASAP!
You only have one first love. Michael's love was a French foreign exchange student who he fell madly in love with. Their story is not simple murder, betrayal and distance tear them apart. Can Michael find the answers he needs and get back the love of his life? This is a must read book, one of the best books on my must read list!
I'm so happy and stressed for this family. You have given me a memory that I will keep. You're ability to tell a complex story from so many angles and keep it fresh was overwhelming. Great ending or is it? Marcus sounds real interesting. Thanks for sharing your talent and heart. Would recommend to anyone who likes a good story with people you would want to know. Also the sex was great.
This is the perfect conclusion to Ms. Blakely's exhilarating and sexy Sinful Nights series! I loved every romantic, sensuous, and heart-pounding moment. This second chance romance reunites Michael Sloan with his "What If?" girl, Annalise Delacroix. They met and fell in love while Annalise was a foreign exchange student in Las Vegas. When she had to return home to France they vowed to stay close and make their relationship work. When they are torn apart by time and distance, they are forced to go their separate ways with broken hearts.
Now 10 years later Michael receives a letter from Annalise that she will be in LV for work and would like to get together. Their reunion ignites the long dormant feelings they both harbor and their desire to explore the "What If's". They remember their wonderful connection as young adults but now as bolder, dirtier, and more passionate adults they fit even better than before. But is that enough for two people who don't want to risk another broken heart and who still live on different continents?
This is a very romantic and sensuous love story. I was drawn in to the nostalgic and personal feel of the written word, deep terms of endearment and the speaking of french in the throws of passion. Michael had me in tears about half way through as I felt the rebirth of their love and the struggle to protect themselves. He is so devoted, thoughtful, protective, romantic yet dominant. Annalise is a strong, loyal, caring heroine that really tugged at my heart as well. Their banter was fun, their chemistry was off the charts and I loved them together.
Ms Blakely also expertly weaved a suspenseful mystery arc throughout this series. I was so enthralled in the flashbacks that revealed the events leading up to Michael's father's murder. The twists and turns in the story had me engaged as it picked up speed to it's thrilling conclusion.
I really enjoy Josh Goodman's narration and think he does a fantastic job! He gives all the characters a distinct, engaging, and believable voice. I really enjoy his performance with this series.
I cannot express how much I loved this whole series. The character's were all so intriguing, genuine and honest that I hate to let them go. Maybe we could get something about John & Mindy? :) This is definitely an exceptional series that shouldn't be missed!
