If you have never read it it you are in for a treat.

Disappointed

I read the other reviews and decided to purchase this book. I found it long and unfulling. Both charaters were cowards and a disappointment. I found the end a sham considering the time period in which the book was set. It felt like the author wrote herself into a corner and couldn't find a way out.

I can't say I liked it but ...

I did appreciate the ending. It was a non-traditional HEA. I couldn't figure out how the author was going to "fix" things so it would end in the traditional hearts and flowers. She didn't, but things still worked out. It made the book more satisfying.

Narrator made the book.

Sad and sweet story. Very captivating thanks to the narrator. The wrong narrator would have ruined it but Villar-Hausar's voice inflections were perfect and very sexy.

Sex, sex, and more sex.... not much of a plot...

While I have enjoyed the series, this particular book was more sex scenes than anything else. The narrator is great, but the book could use more of a story line.

Great Book!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!

This book is erotic and heartbreaking. I wept at times for Matty, his pain was so deep. This is a great story of healing for those that suffered for a long time. I loved this book as well as all of Charlotte Featherstones books!

Great story, narrator whispered

The twists and turns in the plot were fantastic! Not your usual story, and the characters had real lives. I had to keep backing it up because the narrator voice was so soft as to be difficult to hear, especially when things got really good.

HOT!

This is an excellent listen! I would describe it has Jane Austen with steamy sex scenes.

I couldn't stop listening. It was raw & heart wrenching. I rarely give 5 stars to a romance, so this one was exceptional. I loved it.

What a good story!

I loved both novels by Charlotte Featherstone. Great detail, well-developed characters, and infused with reality. Narroration was first class...very beleivable. I will read anything she puts out in the future and gladly pay the credit.
