All of our best dates end up in the emergency room....
I planned the perfect proposal. There was plenty of lobster, caviar, champagne and - her favorite - tiramisu. It was the perfect setting, the perfect woman, the perfect everything.
Dad gave me my late mother's engagement ring, platinum and diamonds galore. Shannon wouldn't care if I slid a giant hard-candy ring on her finger instead of a three-carat diamond designed to impress. But my future mother-in-law, Marie, will pass out when she sets eyes on that rock, which will give us two minutes of blessed silence. That woman talks more than Kim Kardashian flashes her naked backside on the Internet.
I was going to make it perfect, from the color of the tablecloth to the freshness of the roses. And it was perfect...until Shannon swallowed the ring.
Shopping for a Billionaire's Fiancée gives near-billionaire Declan McCormick the chance to tell his story in this continuation of the New York Times and USA Today best-selling Shopping for a Billionaire series.

I haven't read the rest of the books in this series and I probably won't. I bought this simply because Zachary Webber was the narrator. Zachary did an outstanding job bringing Declan to life. I found myself laughing out loud for most of the book. The author definitely has a great sense of humor. I might have to listen to this one again.
"Hot Guy" finally put a ring on "Toilet Girls" finger!!! If you don't know who those two are you better....STOP....and go buy and listen to the Shopping for a Billionaire Series NOW. This amazingly funny story was told from Declan's point of view. Which at first I was unsure I would like, but loved. Zachary Webber did an outstanding job being the narrator. He provided Declan with a smooth sexy voice. By hearing the story from Declan POV we get to see the love a devotion he has for his true love Shannon. He pulls out all the stops when it comes to planning the perfect proposal for his girl, but as in their lives things don't always go as planned. Let's just hope their wedding night doesn't end in a trip to the ER. Also, I keep thinking about how Declan has to have Marie for a mother-in-law for the rest of his life!!! This was perfect!!!
Once again a nice story where everything just goes wrong. But all ends happily as it should. Can not wait to read / hear about how all the wedding preparations proceeds and thinking with horror of everything that can go wrong. And I dare not imagine everything that can happen on the weddingday itself.
The book is perfectly read by Zachary Webber.
I have read everyone of the Shopper series and I really loved this book. Zachary Webber's is a wonderful Narrator that can be the perfect voice to portray most any Alpha male's voice. Julia Kent can make you laugh so hard that you forget a hard day. I completely recommend this Audio book and hope for more in Dec's POV and Zachary Webber's wonderful voice!!!
I love this series. I'm always looking for the feel good make me laugh book from time to time. This book fulfilled that quest. The love these two have is wonderful and Declan is always making Shannon his top priority. Shannon's mom does make life exciting with her hold nothing back attitude. I loved the narrator, Zachary Webber, in this book as well as in Breakable. This book maybe my favorite in the series.
I loved this book!!! It is my first audio book and the experience was amazing. I really liked the freedom of doing things around the house, even got around to working out while listening to the book. Loved the voice of the narrator. Don't like the robotic feel when describing something before a dialogue, but I understand the need to differentiate. I definitely recommended it!
This is one of my go to audio books! The narration is fantastic, Zachary doesn't just read you the story, he breathes life in to the story.
This is a hard question, they were all so good!
Yes, I think this is one of his better readings.
Yes, I listen on my commutes and I don't mind having traffic jams just so I can listen longer.
Julia Kent and Zachary Webber make a great team!
I truly appreciate romance novels from the man's point of view, as there are rare (at least in my library). Therefore, it was refreshing to here Declan's point of view in Julia Kent's Shopping for a Billionaire's Fiancee. Over the length of the novel, my connection to Declan's story and past grew stronger, and where I first found some of his behaviors annoying, I soon grew to find them endearing as I got to know him and his thoughts. I first fell in love with Julia's Random series due to the comedy throughout. Although this novel did not have has many funny moments as the Random series, the story was touching and and provided a glimpse into various disasters that becoming engaged could involve.
Everything from the day of the engagement on! Funny!
There were times I wished the story would hurry up in the beginning but towards the middle and end I couldn't wait to hear what was next.
I have never listened to an audiobook narrated by a man and have to say I loved it. This story was Declan's perspective and needed to be told by a man. This is a good as other romance audiobooks that I have listened to.
This is part of a series written by Julia Kent (Shopping for a Billionaire) and I have loved every story!
I haven't listened to Zachary Webber before this book. I really liked his performance and think he did a great job with all of the characters he portrayed. I would definitely listen to other performances of his.
There were so many funny and romantic parts that I loved. My favorite would have to be "the Proposal 2.0" when Declan proposed to Shannon. I loved what he said and how he proposed! He just put it all out there.
I have purchased all of Julia Kent's books that I can get my hands on. I love her books. I have never listened to one of her audiobooks until this one. I was lucky to receive a free copy of the audio version (I purchased the book copies) and asked to give an honest opinion. I loved Zachary Webber's performance in this book. I didn't really like Shannon's voice in the epilogue, but it probably would have grown on me. This book is hilarious and romantic. It will make you laugh and cry out load and want to read more. I definitely recommend this book and her other's as well. I will now have to check out her other audio versions.
