Publisher's summary

Twelve years ago Zoe Ford let Liam Masters break her heart. But now? There's not a chance. Zoe is as tough and wild as they come. So when Liam shows up at her tattoo parlor, she's more than ready to take him on again. That's not going to be a hardship, since he's hotter than he ever was.

This time she's staying in charge. And she's not going to consider their score settled until he's hot, bothered and begging for more! Then she'll move on as callously as he left her. Unless all that deliciously bad sex is just too good to give up...

Great story, Narrator so-so

I love Sarah Mayberry books, but this was a little hard to listen to because, although the Narrator had a nice voice, something was off throughout the read. Maybe it was her inflections, accenting the wrong words which made it distracting, pulling me out of the story again and again. It just sounded like she was reading and not emoting in a convincing way. It's not easy to narrate/perform audio books, but the listener should be able to lose themselves in the story instead of wishing the narrator's performance jived with the story and the emotions and the characters.

Book - Good. Narrator- Not so good

I thought this was a pretty good book and if I had read the book, it would have been 4 stars. But since this is an audio book, I am also rating the narrator and I just wasn't terribly impressed. At the beginning of the book, the narration isn't so bad, but by the time I got to the last 1/3 of the book, I really wanted to know the ending but thought I might end up banging my head against the wall because of all of the pauses in the sentences. To me it seemed like the narrator was reading sentences such as, "She thought she would telephone him later." as "She thought she. Would Telephone Him. Later." There were a few other problems with the narration, such as Liam supposedly all hot and bothered but when he said something like, "Zoe, I have to have you", it sounded like he was bored and uninterested. But overall, it wasn't too bad *PAUSE* except for *PAUSE* all the choppy sentences *PAUSE*.
