Made me smile

This was a very touching story and I am God Laurann decided to put these two characters together. Great narration. On to the next book.

Be brave, be yourself & be alive

I love how Beauty had the courage to go looking for what she wanted and showed strength when others thought her weak....otherwise she'd still be lonely and exactly where she had been....to which I can relate. This book had showed me where I need courage and that I haven't been living but existing as well.

I'm just slight disappointed there wasn't a preview for the next book at the end...lol. Besides the promise of hot sexy men in the next book, I liked hearing the teaser to spur me on to buy it.

Huge fan of this series

What does Vanessa Chambers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator is the reason that I have purchased every audio book in this series. The story is good but the narrator Vanessa Chambers makes this book a thousand times better!!! A narrator can totally kill a book and this is an example where the narrator just makes this book AMAZING!!! Great Job

Such a romantic but super sexy story

I loved the interaction between these two people. They each came from such tragic pasts but learned to experience new things & fall in love together. It also had its thrills & danger.

Slow burn

Very excited to finally have a Species female story although it took about half of the book for them to get their heads out of their butts. Makes sense since Beauty is a gift female but slow burns aren’t my taste. Good story overall. Loved when she wound up protecting Shadow.

Fantastic Story

This is another one of my favorite books. It was refreshing to hear about a new species male and female. Beauty and Shadow are quite the couple. Loving this series; now on to Moon!

Not only do I love the series, but I love that a Gift found happiness. Hunky Man, brave woman.......love it!

What did you love best about Shadow?

Beauty is so different then any other heroine. She is inspirational.

What did you like best about this story?

Beauty's attempts to seduce Shadow. She does what any lonely woman interested in a man does when shes see it as her last chance.

Which scene was your favorite?

Beauty and Shadow in the tool shed. I liked the way it did not turn into sex...just longing

I also loved the little weak "Gift" standing up to the Bully Kit. This woman has a warriors soul!

Thank you for getting a female involved with a male! this is the best book since the first one. and I like that they didn't just jump to sex first

4 Shadow Stars

This book was a little different than what we are used to.
Beauty is Species but she is also a gift female. Meaning she was made smaller almost helpless and sold to sick people who wanted to “own” a pet.

Sick right! I was glad when this one was saved in a previous book. But Beauty wants to be more like the other Females, but because she is gift all her people protect her even from themselves.

She is very attracted to Shadow and Shadow is very attracted to her but because she is labeled gift he stays away.

But the heart wants and even when they are put together. I was so saddened to see how much they both “hide” there true feelings because of there pasts.

They kind of heal each other. I enjoyed this book a lot. It was different and we get to see a different kind of love story. And how pain can heal pain.

Again the narration blows me away. Vanessa does a fabulous job as always.
