Publisher's summary
"We're the D'Artigo sisters: sexy, savvy ex-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But being half-human, half-Fae means our powers could go haywire at any time—mostly the wrong times. My sister Camille is a wicked-good witch with three sexy husbands. My sister Menolly is a vampire who's dating a werepuma. And me? I'm Delilah, a two-faced werecat and Death Maiden. I watch over things in the Super Community, where trouble is about to go down hard.
It's Valentine's Day and the D'Artigo women are preparing for their friend Iris's wedding. But when Delilah and her sisters get word that the Super Community Center has been bombed, things get really ugly. The evil coyote shifters—the Koyami—are back, and Newkirk, their new leader, has joined forces with a group of rogue sorcerers. Then, just when it seems things can't get worse, the demon lord Shadow Wing sends in a new front man, and life really goes to hell."

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Another great novel from Yasmine Galenorn.
Would you listen to Shaded Vision again? Why?
I would listen to Shaded Vision again. I was thrilled to get to listen to it before it even came out in the stores. This was my first audio book and it was weird to hear the voices read for the characters that didn't match with the ones I hear in my head when I read this series in the past. But the narrator did an excellent job. Another elegantly vivid writing from Yasmine Galenorn.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Shaded Vision?
I think one of the most memorable moments would have been when Delilah was experiencing her intimate moment with Shade and the Autumn Lord at the same time. The way she explained the experience was beautiful.
Which scene was your favorite?
I think my favorite scene was when Chase got to go to Otherworld.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed a lot.

Best one yet!
I love this series so much, but hands down Delilah, the were cat is my favorite Character. This book had me laughing out loud one minute and at the edge of my seat the next. The characters are so likable, and the growth (especially of Delilah) is incredible to see throughout the series. The narrator is perfect for this series as well. You must read the books in order since it is an ongoing story, and quite a ride! I love everything Yasmine Galenorn writes, pick up this series...I am so glad I did!

Does not disappoint
The war rages on, and we have a ringside seat. I love that each book is told from a different sister's view point.

great series
I am enjoying this series a great deal. I like how the author gives each sister a book to tell their part of the story and thst the characters are carried through out the series. That said Deliah is my least favorite character, which makes her books less enjoyable. She is a very whiny. selfish individual who has no self control. I could do without all the litterb talk as well. Great series and well written books. But Deliah needs to get s grip and stop being a selfish brat

Another Fantastic Yasmine Galenorn Book!
Ms. Galenorn never disappoints. Plenty of action and fighting but equally as many tender moments. I loved it!

Same story, different names...
What would have made Shaded Vision better?
alot...its the same story as the other books, I am so over these sisters, they do the same thing in each book just different wording, this book was disapointing, I was so hoping Ms. Galenorn would get bolder with the sisters, bring in new dangers, more action in this book.
What could Yasmine Galenorn have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
step out of the sisters box, bring in something strong, bold, demanding from them..
Would you listen to another book narrated by Cassandra Campbell?
totally yes..
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
nope not for me

least favorite of the series so far
I've been listening to the series back to back. I've enjoyed them for the most part. There is a lot of time spent re-telling information in previous books. I suppose that is fine if there's a gap in time between listening to each of them. I can almost overlook that recurring issue in all of the books of the series (not just this one).
This book, however, spent so much time describing clothing and preparations for the wedding I almost gave up on it entirely. I can't really understand why so much time was devoted to it and all of the details about it. One more clothing, food, or morning sickness description and I would not have been able to finish!
Once past that very over-long portion the book was much like the others. Not a great series, but, overall entertaining enough to go on to the next book.

Time to Rap It Up
Would you try another book from Yasmine Galenorn and/or Cassandra Campbell?
Yes
Would you ever listen to anything by Yasmine Galenorn again?
Yes
Have you listened to any of Cassandra Campbell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Have not listened to any other Cambell performances
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
no
Any additional comments?
I've listened to all the books in this series. The first 5 or 6 were interesting but the last 5 have sounded too much like all the other books in the sereis. Time to bring the series to a conclusion.
