OK read and OK narration..

This was a pretty good story. About Marina who was taking care of her nephew, Tommy, that her sister abandoned the year before. And Trent who owned a restaurant that Marina critiqued for the newspaper she worked for. I really bad review and Trent went on a hunt for her to find out if she was being bribed or blackmailed to try to destroy his restaurant. She did go back a second time when Trent called the newspaper but the food was just as bad the second time, too.

Anyway, they met and neither one told the other what they did until it was almost too late. They finally found out who was sabotaging Trent’s place and by then they were working on a HEA.

There were explicit sex scenes in this book but there was no swearing.

I did think the name of the book was a little silly. There was no sauce made in the whole story, secret or otherwise.

As to the narration: Charles Lawrence was alright. His women’s voices need work.

Who is after Marina.

Trent gets a very bad review of his restaurant. He tries to track down the guy who did the review. What he finds is the reviewer isn't a guy, but a beautiful woman. Once he discovers who she is, he sets out to find out if she is on the take or being black mailed to give his restaurant such a bad review. He is getting ready to open another site and doesn't want the review to reflect on the new place. Marina has to keep her identity secret for several reasons. She doesn't want someone coming after her when she writes a bad review. She always tries to be fair, but not everyone agrees with her. She also has been staying low because her sister entrusted her with her nephew. His father is a high powered politician and doesn't want anything to come out about his affair with Marina's sister. Once Trent meets Marina, he knows that she isn't involved with his problems, but who is? He has always trusted his employees. Trent falls in love with Marina and Tommy. Will he be able to keep them? Is the person after him or Marina?
