The many different issues the couple had to overcome
When Mark almost rape her and the shot that rang out. The ending when they found out who's baby it was.
No not for me, they all almost sounded the same. I thought she did a great job on the different emotions and on the reading of the different characters but they all had the same voice.
There were a few, when Mark wouldn't leave her alone, he broke into her home and talked with her niece, when Mark almost raped her and when they found out who the baby belonged to.
I found this to be a wonderful story there was so much going on and the author did a great job keeping things moving fast. The words were wrote with an easy flow, the story kept your interest and you didn't want to put it down. There is so much pain and sorrow, so many thing to learn and grow from.
Dustin was an upstanding character he was easy to love, he gave so much of his self and was willing to stand beside Stacy no matter what. He has a lot to deal with, it would have been so easy to walk away but the love he had for Stacy was strong enough he would have done anything to not only keep her but keep her safe.
Stacy was very likeable, so much happens to her it would have been easy to have just given in and say the H with it all. She stood her ground when it came to Mark who was a total a**. At times I thought she acted much young than her age but she was a wonderful character.
The author gives us wonderful supporting characters. The bothers, parents and friends were outstanding. You even feel a little sorry for Mark at times even when you can't stand him. From the first book he seemed like he would be an outstanding man. I was so shocked when the author took it another way as I listened with my mouth hung open. Nice job Evan nice job you through me a twist I didn't see coming.
Condoms come in a sealed pack so I am a little confused how he put holes in all of them without them finding out. This was just a little over the top and unbelievable for me. Now had Mark been the only one using them than I could have believed this.
As far as the narrator goes she did the characters wonderful, it would have been better had the characters had different voices but this was not an issue with me. For me when she was out of character she read to fast, she needs to slow down and not stop so fast at the end of each sentence. I am hoping she grows and learns as she takes on more reading. That she will listen to the reviewers, this is the second book I have listened to her and nothing has changed. I know on the 1st book the reviewers where a little hard on her and I was hoping she would listen to them and slow down. She does an outstanding job when she is in character.
As for the author this is the second book of hers I have read or listen to. I thought this was an outstanding read with a wonderful plot. I did have an issue with the condoms, I do have to admit the story line made a great read. I do look forward to reading/listening to more from this author.
