I spent 20 years waiting for Trent Hennington to open his eyes and see me. But it was all for nothing. He chose to keep himself guarded and let me walk away, proving that my time and efforts were wasted.
I'm done being invisible.
It's time to move on.
A single dance sets my new reality into motion, and I welcome it. After all, Cooper Townsend is perfect. He's kind, sexy, and attentive - everything a girl could want.
I thought I got it right this time.
That my heart could mend, and I would be happy.
Apparently, some things really are just too hard to walk away from.

I struggled through this one. I got it because I love Andi Arndt & Sebastian York...and the reviews were good.
However, I had a hard time connecting with it for a couple of reasons:
-Their ages didn't match up. Would have been more believable if they were in their early 30s or late 20s.
-There wasn't anything that made sense of how or why Trent was the way he was. We didn't see any of their connection that supposedly lasted 20 years. The breakup in the beginning was just odd.
-Very anticlimactic! Nothing pulled me in emotionally. There was too much back story missing that would have connected you to the characters better.
Omg! Where to start?! When I first started listening I thought .... another one of those girl torn between 2 guys book and then BAM!!! It all starts happening and you can't stop listening because you have to know what happens!! Oh man I cried !! Happy cry!! Sad cry!!! UGLY cry!!! Happy cry! My heart was broke then put back together to be broken again. This book has romance, turmoil, a little humor, lots of love!!! I don't like spoilers so I will just say give it a try! It's worth the credit!! Narration was AWESOME!!! As always ... great job Andi & Sebastian!!! Corinne.... EXCELLENT writing!!! Now I have to wait for Coopers story!!!
I enjoy that the book is not just about the relationship, but it has a lot day to day issues that real people are going through. It's very heart warming. Corrine Michaels really knows how to make you cry and laugh so hard. I can't say that I have ever been disappointed with one of her books.
I really like that the character's are a lot older. I felt that the story was great, because it was not a new love it was a love that took 20 years for Trent to get his head out of his ass.
I have said it before that Andi and Sebastian are the narrating dynamic duo making all of the scenes very heart warming and the sex scenes are intense. I'm so glad they were the narrator's for this book.
I cried like a baby when Mr. Hennington fell. My mouth fell to the floor when Trent over heard his parents and the Dr. talking.
I really loved the ending. It was the perfect ending.
I really hope we get another book about Cooper. Or I loved the hinting off of going to Virginia Beach. Maybe these books will intermingle.
As you read the first portion of the book you will want to string Trent up by his toes, you'll be so frustrated!
Cooper adds a bit of spice and a whole bunch of laughs. I mean the escapades of his two dates with Grace?! Hysterical!! But Cooper proves to be the best friend a girl could ask for.
Trent redeems himself, hands down. Mr Rooney, Grace's dad will melt your heart.
Ret Hennington will break your heart with his struggles. Family means EVERYTHING!! and the very foundation of this family is shattered. Trent is lost, Zack and Wyatt angry and the women at a loss. This is when Ret shows you his loving spirit and the true hero he is.
A wedding is in the air, surrounded by family. Love is palpable.
The ending gets to the heart of the Hennington boys and their wives, with brotherly competition and antics that will have you smiling and laughing. Cooper joins in the fun to make things more interesting. Then there's another surprise that grabbed at my heart. ❤️
I loved Say I'm Yours! Now I need Cooper's story.
Being realistic. Spoiler. There is no way that a guy that likes you is okay with you sleeping with an ex. The h can tell the man she loves to leave her alone & she needs time to think but the new guy in the picture she can't say the same thing to??? The story is unbelievable .
There were parts that I did enjoy. The were times it pulled at the heart strings. There were times I would start to relate with the characters then something would happen and I was frustrated again.
If you don't like a story line where the h continually flip flops on her feelings, this is not the book for you. I personally don't like the love triangle.
Didn't like the male character, he was a jerk. Didn't warm up to the female character, too stupid to know when she was being used. Bought and listened to this book mainly for the narrators. Disappointed, because I really liked the first 2 books in this series..
it seems the writer was forced to meet a required minimum words or pages... and added fluff.
