Savannah St. Claire grew up in a town where she was constantly bullied. Her only friends were brothers Billy and Travis Blue. The three of them were inseparable.
Billy Blue joined the Army when he turned 18 and was deployed to Afghanistan soon after. Four years later, Billy returns home and things are forever changed for this man who heroically fought for his country. He not only has to overcome his physical limitations, but he must confront his feelings for Savannah. With his confidence broken, he comes to the realization that there could be no way she would ever love him enough to look past the scars he possesses both inside and out.
What happens when two brothers love the same woman? Can broken hearts be mended? Will true love prevail above all else?

I Love a great supernatural tale, a Love story, PNR, a Cool Mystery and Most Sci-Fi....if there are vampires, weres or witches in it, that's a plus! Basically I am a 40+ y/o young at heart woman rediscovering the wonderful world of books and am now addicted! Lol I LOVE AUDIBLE!!!!!

This was a nice story about young love and war...Savannah and Billy were meant to be..but when Billy went into the military he tries to push Savannah away....Billy gets injured badly, and comes home angry and in almost constant pain...Savannah tries to runaway, but he comes to her and they can not resist one another...love always conquers all!
not any one moment it all came together in an emotional story
the first when he is reflecking and coming home sets the secene
laugh and cry
the narration was excellent and in a nutshell Billy came home from the war damaged. Can Savannah reach through his pain and troubled mind and rescue Billy? What aboutTravis, Billy's brother who stayed behind to take of mama and charged with watching over Savannah? What of Savannah herself? Billy broke her heart before he left, read and find out if Billy can or will be saved.
Billie comes homes damaged in many ways, will he heal himself and what of Savannah ??? get tie book an see
We meet a broken hearted Savannah, who was left behind by army boyfriend Billy. Billy left making Savannah believed he didn't love her any longer. Even after four years had passed, Savannah is still deeply in love with Billy. Hoping that one day Billy would come back and tell her he made the biggest mistake of her life, but he never did. A very good military love story.
I am a disabled Medical Technologist who uses books and audio books as a diversion from the pain of Fibromyalgia. I'm happy to review.
This story was full of complex feelings of the girl left behind when a young man left and went off to war. Although he broke up with her before he left, Savannah never stopped loving Billy. After he's injured in Afghanistan, he returns home with PTSD and a really bad attitude. When you throw a brother into the mix that might have feelings of his own for Savannah, things get complicated really fast.
The story was great and I loved the dual narration by Kai Kennicott, and Wen Ross. The tendency by both of them to break up sentences drove me a little crazy, but overall the performances were good.
I was given this audio book for free in exchange for an honest review.
The story being told through the main female and male pov
Savannah because of her pure love and devotion
no, I LOVED them!
Best intentions are often more heartbreaking than listening to your heart
This was a great romance read! I highly recommend it. Savannah could always count on her true love Billy and his brother Travis in a world that wasn't so kind to her. Savannah suffered through some harsh verbal bullying in school but her strong attitude and the love and care of Billy and Travis made it easier to cope in a narrow minded town. With all great love stories comes a touch of heartbreak and that's just what happens to Savannah when the love of her life Billy enlists in the Army and breaks their ties. Leaving only Billy's brother Travis behind to help her cope with life beyond Billy Savannah becomes jaded and has a rough 4 years of pent up anger and frustration. A surprise homecoming turns everything they both thought they knew over the last 4 years Billy was away upside down and that's where the story takes you on an emotional journey from both their points of view. There are a small cast of characters but they all have a special place in your heart (I love Savannah's Mom). You don't know which direction Savannah's heart is going to go, or is it just going to shut down for now and move on? You will have to read to find out. I am so happy I got the chance to Listen to this audio book in exchange for an honest review. I really needed a story like this after coming down off so many Alpha romance/Paranormal romance and others that I'm used to. This is a quick read and I do really love my quick reads since I have a huge TBR. Kuddos to the narrators and Nicole Garcia. I am a fan!
This is a terrific book by Nicole Garcia. The characters are believable and have you pulling for them till the end. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross do a marvelous job with the narration, voicing all the male and female parts accordingly.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys a fun romantic read
Loved this quick listen. Definitely feel like these characters were real. Loved the interplay of emotions especially in the way Wen brought life to Billy.
Really nice story.
Savannah because she was able to finally be with the one she loved.
Yes, when Billy found Savannah sleeping in his bed.
The female narrator could have done a better job but the male narrator was okay. I really liked the story and would recommend it.
No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
As children Savanna grew up with Billy and Travis Blue. She didn't have any other friends because she was bullied - I don't remember why she was bullied, that's how important it is for the storyline
Billy and Savanna were especially close until Billy joined the Army. He told Savanna he didn't love her (for her sake) and was deployed to Afghanistan. He did not want her pining for him while he was gone and/or constantly grieving for him if he did not come home.
Billy does come home after being severely injured by an IED. He finds out that his brother, Travis, was in love with Savanna.
Savanna must straighten out or sort out her feelings for both brothers and decide who she wants and how to continue on...
This book is above average and would be a nice "beach read". At just over three hours it is perfect for a busy listener to listen to while doing housework, running errands (no kids in the car) or just listening over a couple of evenings. I recommend it for those reasons.
The dual narration between Kai Kennicott & Wen Ross are a great fit for this book. Also, above average performances. I changed the speed setting (as is my usual preference) and even that did not take away from the good work performance.
Notes: A bit of gore in describing Billy's injuries – but not at all graphic
Some themes of intimacy (again, not graphic)
These are my only "warning" to be aware of.
Major kudos to Nicole Garcia and the narrators for donating a percentage of their performances (both narrators gave 50% of their performance fees) and the author gave a certain amount during a time period of two weeks on sales of all of her audio books to military charity.

What a beautiful love story. Three people, best friends, as well as family. Such an inspiring story for those who suffer the aftermath of being in the service. A must read!!! Thank You Nicole Garcia for writing such a delightful story!
