All he’s asking for is her soul. After buying the antebellum home she’s fantasized about since childhood, Anna Worthington discovers Luc, a dangerously seductive incubus who has been trapped in the house by a 50-year-old curse. To rid herself of her problem house guest, she’ll call on a priest, gypsies, ghost hunters, and the coven of witches from lust-bunny hell. All she has to do is resist him long enough to break the spell, so they can go their separate ways. If she doesn’t, she could die. And that would be the best-case scenario.

I am a year away from my bachelors in psychology. Then I will go on to obtain both a masters and doctorate. I rarely have time for casual reading as I have so much textbook reading to do. However, I love to read and Audible has made it easier to do.
The book jumps right into it. I found myself unable to put it down. It appeased both my suspense appetite as well as my naughty side. This book is great for individuals who like the supernatural and paranormal type of stories, this should be a perfect fit for you.
True Blood meets Twilight!
I love the way he gets into character. His narration engaged my imagination.
Yes and I almost did. Unfortunately, I started the book late at night. However, the next morning I was back at it until I finished the book. I'm talking throughout my workday.
I was a bit upset when I discovered the author has only two books available on Audible.com.
A gripping read
I don't know where to start; I didn't think I'd like this genre half as much as I did.
The narration is excellent; just as good as it was in "Blood Lust"
This was about what I expected, chick light. A happy bit of fluff to pass the time. Not Wow! but not horrible either.
I have been trying to get an audio book that is centred in the paranormal, but i cant get away from the vampire craze at the moment, this book however satisfied me, the characters are lovely, they have spunky attitudes and i found myself laughing out loud at some points, theres the romantic intrest as all good books have, and sexual tension thrown in for good measure. The twist at the end i dont think anyone could anticipate. Overall i give this book 5stars!
Oh and the review that seems as though it gives the whole book away (i hope someone takes that down) doesnt give away the ending although i was very disappointed with her giving away too much!
This is my second review concerning Zoe Winters' books. I was so moved with her writing that I had to rate & review this one as well. This story involved Anna who's the new owner of a house that she knew from childhood and Luc-an incubus who's bound to the house by a curse on him from the previous owner.
The situation involving Anna-who naturally wants to be rid of a "ghost" haunting her- and Luc-who wants to be free of the house- runs the gamut from scary to a complex love story. Along the way, the various methods that Anna uses to rid herself of Luc involves an exorcism,"ghostbusters", gypsies and witches.
Since Luc is an incubus, Anna doesn't want to be his "meal ticket" or tempted by his voice that is- oh so
deeply and sensually baritoned(wonderfully performed by Chet Williamson) and the beguilingly handsome
masculine barechested vision who is only dressed in jeans- that she gets him a 'harem' of prostitutes to
keep him "well-fed and sated". Although Luc is primarily concerned with breaking the curse and thereby
his freedom-he's entralled by Anna. So much so that when he sees her being terrorized by Kane-he protects her by 'binding' her to him. He even saves her from an attempted rape by former high school classmate when he brings Anna home one night.
I thought it was a little too soon for Luc to be enamored by Anna so quickly, but since he's an incubus it
wasn't out of the realm of possibilities. It isn't until later as the story progresses that we find out why. The
methods that Anna utilizes to be rid of Luc is at times hilarious. Who would think to get a harem for an incubus just so that he "feed" off of them instead of going after you?! Luc told Anna what would free him-
but she was unwilling to either burn down the house or give her soul to him. After all the other methods failed-by which time she ultimately fell in love with him-Anna gave Luc her soul to keep them together.
I LOVED this story-it was bittersweet with a surprise ending. I LOVED Luc!!!!!
Looking forward to the next one.
I really enjoy it when readers with similar reading interests list their favourite authors and series. It really helps me find new authors too follow. Mine are Charlaine Harris, Jeaniene Frost, Jennifer Estep, Faith Hunter, Molly Harper, Ilona Andrews, Kresley Cole, Deborah Harkness, Nalini Singh, Coreene Callahan, Stacia Kane, Kelly Medding and Sherrilyn Kenyon.
"Great beginning...awful development"
The only thing that kept me listening until the end is the great narration by Chet Williamson.
The novel's setup had me really liking the main character up to the point when she meets Luke, the male lead. Suddenly she becomes a lot less interesting because she is attracted to a guy whom I found very flat and predictable.
