Publisher's Summary

Michelle's dating a movie star, and from the outside her life looks glamorous. But she wants something more. At night, Michelle has dreams about an alien. She can't believe how handsome he is and lets him do unspeakable things to her. After all, it's just a dream, right?

She's surprised when the alien appears out of nowhere. When she's at TerraMates, the intergalactic mail-order bride agency, Caspian Coore walks into the room, looking for some oversized parts to fix his spaceship. Everything's bigger about these aliens.

Michelle had her future planned out, and a large, stern alien warrior isn't supposed to be part of it. Besides, Caspian is a Yarian. They're always promiscuous and love to party. Yarians only make an exception if they find their flaura...their eternal soul mate. Michelle's definitely not Caspian's flaura. She won't let him penetrate her defenses.

Or will she?

This story takes place in the TerraMates universe, but can be enjoyed as a standalone novel.

    "Full of action and love"

This has to be my favorite Lisa Lace story in the Terra Mates series. It was different. It actually took place on Earth. It has it all. Lots of action, betrayal and love. If you Lisa Lace you will really enjoy this story. I received this audio book free for an honest review. Glad i was given the chance to listen.

    Story
    "crash landing"

When the spaceship Cas and his crew lands he did not expect to find his soul mate in a human. Michelle thought things were fine with her movie star boyfriend until she meets Cas. There are obstacle and enemies to conquer before they can admit that they can't live without each other. I like the imagination put into the characters and the plot. The narrators were ok. The woman's voice was kind of monotone. I received a free audio with no obligation.

    Story
"A steamy alien romance with a twist."
What made the experience of listening to Savage Alien the most enjoyable?

It is great to spend an afternoon listening to a great alien romance to help you escape from the world for awhile.. A great story read by a great narrator is very relaxing & exciting.

What other book might you compare Savage Alien to and why?

This book is comparable to other books in the same series by this author except that this one has definitely more sex than some others. Depends on how hot you like your books.

    Which scene was your favorite?

There are several scenes in the book when the two characters are trying to figure out if they have chemistry are not. These are always fun .

    Any additional comments?

The TerraMates series is delightfully creative with each book being significantly different.

    Story
    "Savage Alien by Lisa Lace"
Would you consider the audio edition of Savage Alien to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, but I enjoy the virtual enactment of an audio book

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Michelle was no pushover. She stood up for herself and spoke her mind.

Which character – as performed by Samantha Leatherwood and Paul Brion – was your favorite?

    Michelle was my favorite character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was, although I was unable to

    Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed listening to SAVAGE ALIEN, the 12th book in Lisa Lace's SciFi series TerraMates. Savage Alien stands out from the other books in the series in several ways. For one, the hero/heroine in question only casually meet accidentally the first time at the TerraMates offices rather than being matched through the program. Secondly, they aren't married by the end of the book. Lastly, Michelle is actually in a relationship with Tate, who is a local celebrity, when they do first meet. Still, this story was very fun to read and kept my interest from start to finish.

Caspian, or Caz as he prefers, is a Keeper. A big dark, sexy hulk of a warrior who comes from a planet where his only pastimes are casual sex and sleeping when he isn't protecting the kingdom. He finds himself temporarily on Earth after the ship he, the Prince, and several other Keepers were headed for home on after completing their most recent mission, is forced to land for safety. Since they will be there for several weeks waiting War the parts needed to make the repairs to the ship he makes the best of it by spending time in the clubs in the area hoping to meet women from Earth.

Michelle has been living with the very self-absorbed and narcissistic Tate for over 3 years now. She isn't really happy with him but believes that all couples go through difficult periods and she owes him her loyalty and effort to make things work. The fact that she keeps bumping into the sexy alien isn't helping her cause. Likewise Caspian is very interested in Michelle and is not detoured when he sees her with Tate. It's apparent to him the man does not appreciate her or even really care for her. Caz on the other hand cannot get her out of his mind and pursues her, despite the many other women he has opportunities with.

Despite never leaving Earth there is danger and suspense involving all the main characters including the Prince. Michelle, Caspian and the other Keepers must work together to save Earth from a dangerous plot.

Great story that was well read by the narrators. 4 stars

~Complimentary audiobook received. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

    Story
    "5 STARS !!! LOVED THIS AUDIOBOOK !!!"

LOVED THIS AUDIOBOOK !!! A new twist on the Terra Mates saga...this book is staged on Earth! I was captivated from the beginning and the storyline flowed from one scene into the next flawlessly to keep me captivated to the very end. Michelle and Cas travel a rough and rocky road full of secret agendas, dangerous situations, life affirming and life altering decisions. But who ever said the road to happiness was easy? I have read ALL of the Terra Mates books and listened to the Audiobooks and this one was no disappointment. A little different plotline in the individual books in the series is what keeps a reader interested. I can't wait to see where Ms. Lace goes from here. Keep up the good work Lisa!!!

    Story
    "The Right Woman Can ..."
Would you consider the audio edition of Savage Alien to be better than the print version?

Yes. The two narrators were great. They kept the story moving along and brought the characters to life. I listened to the whole story in one sitting, which is only possible when the narration is good.

What did you like best about this story?

When Michelle finally realizes that her movie star boyfriend doesn't really care about her. She wanted to believe that she had the ideal life, but she was obviously the only one working on the relationship. When she is finally ready to accept this, it's a great moment.

    Any additional comments?

This is a good alien/human romance with most of the story taking place on Earth.

As in several other TerraMates stories, dreams expose the alien lover. When they really meet, it is difficult for her to believe that it is real. It also leaves her with a dilemma; what to do about meeting a person from their dream whom she has imagined a relationship with?

There is not a lot of world building required in this story as almost all of it takes place on Earth. There is, however, cultural information on the aliens. We learn what we need to know to understand the story and the motivations of the aliens. There are both good and bad actions and motivations by the aliens as there are by the humans adding to the depth of the story and the characters.

Michelle is a strong character. Her growth and ability to adapt as the story progresses leads to the actions required of her near the end of the story.

This is book 12 in the series. It isn't often that you can read the 12th book in a series without being at least somewhat bored with the series. Lisa has done a great job of keeping the series fresh. Each story has different set ups, different motives for using TerraMates, and different settings. Each story is a new adventure which keeps the series from getting old.

Overall, I really enjoyed this audiobook.

Thanks Lisa for the opportunity to listen to Savage Alien.

    PJ

it was so cool, for me this one had the perfect balance of romance, action and intrigue. cass was so interesting and loyal, liked him and michelle was pretty independent I liked that she tried everything to try save a relationship but the way she ended up with cass, perfect.
and all the yarian conspiracies and such truly added body to the plot.

    "Not My Favorite TerraMates Book"

I usually enjoy Lisa Lace's writing but this book fell a bit short for me. It took awhile for the story to hold my attention. I kept being distracted and loosing interest. Considering this is book 12, It's amazing how creative, unique, and fun her stories have been so far.

I'm actually a bit surprised at some of the reviews this book has received. Perhaps, I'm the only one that had a hard time connecting with it.

I do not enjoy listening to the heroes/heroines bedroom escapades with other characters and how much they were having fun before meeting their soulmate. It makes the main character's connection seem less important & unique. It takes away from the wow moment they should have with their soulmates (each other).

There were some chapters that seemed to be left hanging. The story moved along with a new character but the previous scene was never concluded.

The narration was well done. A male and female narrator really enhances the audiobook experience. They brought the story to life.

This book happens on earth unlike all the previous books in this series. Aliens have spaceship issues and are forced to land on earth. It's a standalone novel like the previous ones, although it is takes place in the TerraMates world.

    "As usual, Lisa Lace delivers"

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. As usual Lisa Lace delivers a great story again. This being her 12 in the TerraMates series and it is just as unique as all the others. This one, however, takes place on Earth. Different from the rest. Michelle isn't looking for romance. She is living (4 years) with a TV/movie star. However, is the grass greener on the other side? In this case, yes! The two narrators did a wonderful job of portraying the characters and bringing out their personalities and the story. Always looking forward to Lisa's next book. Awesome!!!!

"Smoking hot aliens, sexual escapades and the unpre"
    Any additional comments?

This latest installment of the TerraMates series is unlike the stories before. This can be listened to as a standalone. It really has no relation to TerraMates other than two small references and unlike the other stories it does not feature a bride leaving to another planet. Lisa changed the game up and set this story smack dab on planet Earth! Starting with a daring rescue that ends with a crash landing!

Michelle thinks she is where she wants to be in life. She is in a relationship with a famous, hot, actor who is running for office. She has a job she has excels at and is quickly moving up the corporate ladder but somewhere in the back of her mind lurks a strong want for something. What she is not sure of and she does not know what it is or where to find it. Somehow she winds up visiting TerrMates. She quickly realizes she should not be there but not be for a smoking hot alien catches her eye. The chance encounter sparks a series of events that leads them straight in to each other's arms and turns her world upside down!
