Bad boy Rory Kennedy was raised in foster care, bouncing in and out of trouble along the way. He finds his true family and real brothers as a Navy SEAL, one of the navy's elite warriors. When his BUD/S instructor barked the SEAL's motto - "only easy day was yesterday" - he knew he had found home.
Megan Palmer works in a bookstore and finds her passion in life through reading steamy romance novels. Her brief affair with a man she later found out was married has left her damaged. Then she meets the handsome SEAL who stands ready to open her world and give her things she's only dreamed.
On a skiing trip, Rory suffers a possible career-ending injury. He also comes face to face with a past he never knew of and a family who had abandoned him. His relationship with Megan is tested to the breaking point as Rory wades through the dark waters of recovery and ponders whether or not he can live without the life he loves. A homegrown terrorist cell forces his hand, and he discovers his true purpose.

Listening to JD Hart wonderful amazing narration of Sharon Hamilton's sensual exciting story
All of Sharon Hamilton's marvellous SEAL series with JD's amazing voice
Rory was an exceptional hero and I loved JDs voice for him
Sharon Hamilton's description and JDs story telling of Rorys foster care pulled at your heart strings
I liked the way Megan came into her own to make a good heroine and the super hot love scenes. Also I liked that the SEALs all return with their wonderful banter
Tell us about yourself!
Rory and Megan, Megan and Rory! Oh my!!! Once again, Sharon has captivated my heart with this pair of heroes; yes, both are heroes to me. I like Megan. She is simple, straightforward, and shy yet underneath she is the perfect match for this warrior. She is a survivor! I don't want to give anything way as usual, so you'll have to take my word for it and indulge in the deliciousness that is this wonderful love story. I will say it again; these bad boys are awesome guys! There is also a secondary character I fell in-love with, "Mr. Corrigan". He is weaved in and out of the story and, eventually becomes someone very important to our hero and he grew on me instantly. Once more, I found myself in the fascinating world of the “brotherhood” that are the SEALS and am in awe of the constant reminder of theirs and other military's sacrifices. Here we also reminded of who else sacrifices... the families!!! I know it is a Romance book to most but to me it is so much more, it's whole other world of blood, sweat and tears and an inner strength that I envy and so admire. I agree with Sharon in that she now writes with JD Hart's voice in mind because I really could not imagine anyone else acting out the scenes. Am I just used to hearing him? Well I thought I was, but BAM, BAM, BAM he surprises me again adding juice to an already ripe, more than ready exotic fruit! I cannot believe it is finished and have to wait for the next instalment. Sharon's books are an automatic download/purchase for me, which is how positive I am that I will enjoy the next adventure. Why don't you hop on, open your mind and enjoy the waves?
OMG I am addicted to this series I am counting the days till the next one is out. great story and after reading this specific one you can see ways the author can explore new ways keeping these guys and the community going maybe into The private sector to be able to handle stuff on the Homeland. =)
Rory Kennedy is a SEAL and a mutual friend of those who care about Meagan Palmer. They are instantly attacted to one another. She is afraid of how she feel since she has been hurt by a man who cheated on her in the past. A man who cannot take no for an answer.
This story is very intense. We hear the terrorist thoughts as well as the hero. It gets more complicated because everyone thinks Meagan is not in danger. She is left out on her own while the other families are moved as the danger builds.
Rory is not sure he can see a future with anyone. He knows he loves her and she has said she loves him too. Is that enough? They both are gun shy and then tragedy strikes. Can they save the innocent lives that are at stake?
This book is narrated by J.D. Hart. I have listened to books he has narrated before. I find his smooth, clear voice makes the book even better. You can hear the emotions and the inflections as he is reading the book.I like that this enhanced the story and made me want to add the audio files for more of my books.
Really great story just full of suspense! I happily recommend this book and its series. Just will tell you if you already love military romances, or this series - it is well worth it. There is nothing like having the sound of a great voice read you a sexy book! Warning: Due to language I recommend for readers over 18+ only. I give this audiobook version a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Once again Sharon gives us an outstanding story and JD brings it to life in this audio version
Loved Megan & Rory their story is wonderful
I enjoyed the diversity of the story. It was not just a romance there was so much more to this. There was the SEAL story, the possibility of a father son reunion, friendships and love. There is a dramatic and quick pace to the story and there is seamless transition between the story segments.
My favorite character is Megan. I can relate to Megan and her reserved ways. She is a bookworm at heart. I found her to be "real" and just someone I could connect with. While she is on the reserved side push come to shove she is able to stand up for herself. I found myself drawn to her.
For me it is was the rough tone and voice of Rory. For me when I read I really try to figure out what each character should sound like and I would not have had this voice for Rory however it is a perfect fit.
I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I am looking forward to listening to more in this series. Hopefully, this also means that I can get a peek back into Rory and Megan's lives.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a great listen while in the car (by myself that is....my daughter didn't like the sexy bits - and she's 21) but I liked it so that's what counts.
Great story line, loved the characters (love seeing the characters from the previous book show up in this all of these). Nice dialogue and story flow.
Felt sorry for Rory to a point but it all worked out in the end.
Can not wait for more to be released.
I love hearing about the other SEALs in Team 3.
The skiing trip!!
I have listened to all the other SEAL Brotherhood by Sharon Hamilton, but SEALs Code, but I will later this month.
Yes, I love that the SEALs will protect those around them.
Rory Kennedy has spent his childhood being raised in foster care and being in and out of trouble. He finally has found a place where he feels he belongs, The SEAL Team 3. Megan Palmer finds her passion when she is reading romance books. After her brief affair with a married man, Megan needs to find that confidence she once had.
Once again, we have
I love how there is so much action and suspense throughout the Audio. To hear the voices I have grown to love throughout all of the Audios I have listened to before is like coming home.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
Would I recommend this book? Yes! Author? Yes!
Would I read more from this author? Yes!
There was a lot of action, suspense and drama in this book. I was glad to see the men in action. This one held my attention so much more than the last few in this series. SEAL my Home made me remember why I love the SEAL Team 3 series!
I like them both about the same. When I read the story I can picture the characters in my head and give them a voice. When I listen to the story, J.D. gives them life and I see the characters as he sees them. I can enjoy both versions of the same story.
I really don't like to compare books. Each one is an individual story no matter how similar to others it may be.
I liked Megan, she was quiet but had a strong soul. J. D. did a great job showing that in his narration.
I always like to listen or read a book in one shot. I hate to not know what is going to happen and I keep saying just one more chapter until I reach the end.
I really enjoy getting to see all the characters again in each new story. It makes it really feel as if they are a family.
