Florist Terri Martin lives a calm and peaceful life. Maybe too calm and too peaceful because she can't remember the last time she was in a relationship.
Terri calls Bad Boys for Hire to book herself a date for her thirtieth birthday party, but before she can hire one, she meets Ryker Slade, a biker hiding from his motorcycle club.
Old vendettas resurface and soon, Terri has more than she can handle when she learns that her and Ryker's love is as doomed as Romeo and Juliet's.
Ryker thinks he has a way out, but can Terri escape her fate, or will she find her lover dead before she wakes?
Bad Boys for Hire are fun and exciting stories where love is unexpected, but always delicious. They can be listened to standalone, but for greater enjoyment, please be sure to check out the other books in the series.
Bad Boys for Hire Series was awarded the 2016 Beck Valley Books Reviewers Choice Award.

I loved this book! It is amazingly well written. The characters and the storyline were well developed and complex! There are so many twists the story keeps you engaged from the first page to the last! This is my first book by this author and it will not be my last!
Narration is very much personal preference but I think this was very well done, very professional, I enjoyed every minute!
I absolutely love reading books, but having it read to me by a nice male voice, is wonderful...and I can still get things done around my house and with my kids and not have to stop reading.
I don't think there is a comparison to this book. It's an incredible romance that captured you and keeps you to the laSt word.
Chris Abell did an amazing job. He has a voice that is very easy to listen to.
Bikers in a past life find love with each other
I highly recommend anything written by Rachel Ayala. I have read many of her books, and they never disappoint.
I love audiobooks!!!
This was a sexy and fun modern day Romeo and Juliet with bikers! The narrator did an amazing job with acting out the individual voices, and the plot kept me hanging all the way to the end! Looking forward to more of this series coming to audio. It will be an auto-buy for me!
He's honest and has a code of honor. Even though Terri at first comes off judgmental, he's able to look behind her bluff and find the vulnerable woman underneath. He's also brave and uses his wits to outsmart his enemies, and of course, he's protective and a hero you can count on. I sure do love Ryker. He's the best.
Ryker, hands down. He's so swoony, but also rough and true to life. He's not some pretty boy who goes to the gym to lift weights and preen in front of the mirror. Instead, he's an ex-Marine, someone who put himself in danger to protect. He's also honorable and has principles. He won't hurt the innocent and he's honest.
Ryker! Are you seeing a pattern? I have such a crush on him. :)
When Ryker offers himself up as the sacrificial victim to protect Terri. That is true love, to give his own life to keep her safe. Of course, the moments with Terri are swoony and hot. He's so good for her. Another touching moment was when he told her to stop selling herself short. He sees the value in her that her own mother doesn't recognize.
I love hearing the narrator's voice. He really does bring Ryker to life. I also love the banter between Terri and her friends. They are a fun group of Bumblebees. Can't wait to hear the rest of the books in the series.
I love this book! It's grit and sex rolled into one which is almost combustible.
I can feel the sizzle, though I do wonder if the narrator felt comfortable reading some of it. Because it's a dual POV book, I guess I just took it for granted when I thought of it narrated by a woman. I got a giggle out of hearing a man say some of those things.
Only correction C-A-N-E ( when speaking of the dog) is pronounced kah-nay.
Reading is powerful
Wowza! I woke up way early and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to give this a listen. Almost four hours passed by without me noticing. I listened, enthralled. The ups and downs, twists and turns had me feeling like I was on a roller coaster. The spicy parts kept me warm on this chilly Alaska morning. This was the first audio book of Rachelle Ayala's that I have listened to. At the end of it I laid there thinking about it versus a print, (or kindle), version. I came to the conclusion that I really enjoyed listening to this one. Normally I pick print. The narrator did a good job. He didn't put me to sleep even though I was laying in my bed. I would definitely listen to him again.
All Terri wants is a date for her 30th birthday party, but before she can hire someone, she meets Ryker. I could not put this story away. So much action and romance it's like a buffet and you can't wait for the dessert! There are enough twists to keep you wondering and on the edge of your seat. Rachelle Ayala does not disappoint. I love her writing and her characters are strong whether they are men or women. The narrator, Chris Abell, does a fine job of narrating. I enjoyed listening to him.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story itself, and the audio was fantastic! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was so amazed and delighted at what I was able to joyfully experience with the full effect of both meshed so well.
Ryker is a fast paced and breathtaking book that I can't really compare to the other stories in this series. It has its own personality and stands apart in a very good way.
The scene where Terri and Ryker are setup to get married is my favorite. Neither saw is coming, and to have it read to me with so much conviction was such a blissful experience. :)
Yes, I would have loved to have listened to it in one setting, but it didn't work out for me. I was able to read it one setting, so it wasn't too bad. Listening to it all one once really helps to keep the story running and living in your mind. It keeps things jumping and it's so beautifully entertaining!
I really am glad the author chose this narrator because he was able to add the life and emotions in his voice to these extraordinary characters. He did a super fantastic job!! I loved everything about this audiobook!!!
This is a great book by Rachelle Ayala. I really enjoyed reading it and can't wait to read the rest of the series. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This book is about Terri who owns her own flower shop. She will soon be turning 30 and wants to attend her birthday party with a date. She goes to Bad Boys for Hire to hire a motorcycle bad boy and they are all out. She meets a homeless vet who is panhandling and starts yelling at him to get a job. When he walks across the street to where she was she hands him her business card and gives him some money and tells him to go to her shop for work. She sees him ride away on a harley.
This is when the book starts getting really good because we know that all of us are really attracted to those bad boy bikers that Mom always tells you to stay away. But there's nothing like harleys and leather to get a girl excited.
A great story that I think you will enjoy reading.
Ryker, who wouldn't want a bad boy biker.
It is hard to tell. I liked them all
This is the first audio book that I have listened to and I really enjoyed it. I was able to put out stock and work while I was enjoying a book.
