After Noel Falcon professed his love to the one girl who truly holds his heart in the palm of her hand, he decides to try his damnedest to keep Lane Vance in his life forever this time. There's no way he'll let her slip through his fingers again without a fight.
The instant they are together Noel begins to plot a way to ask his headstrong ladylove to be his wife, but every attempt to pop the question is foiled by a string of mishaps that prevents him from getting the job done before he goes back on tour with Black Falcon.
Distance is a bigger challenge than Noel expects, and the one-eyed beast of jealous raises its ugly head when Lane takes on a job working on an ad campaign for Embrace the Darkness. With Striker - a man who's made his interest in Lance clear - lurking around her constantly, Noel wants to claim Lane now more than ever.

Yes to Michelle's books. Absolutely not another one from Alan Steele.
I love reading stories from the male pov.
I do not just want to read books; i wish i could climb in and live there.
Someone who likes to listen to an old narrator....
I couldn't finish listening to this book it was an awful narration......
The first books narration was great !
The story was fine just the Narrator was YUCK!!!!!
I have this in my kindle and will read it instead! Sorry but you really need to change the narration. I really think I would like my money back. I have never thought that before. Very disappointing.
No. Why in the world when you hire a narrator for a book about a rock band character would you hire one that sounds like a grandfather. This book contains sexual content and I was creeped out because is sounded like an old man was reading it. It was perverse. I had to switch to written.....couldn't make it through chapter 1.
Uh, sounds like my grandfather and the last thing I want is my grandpa reading to me about two people having wild sex!
Liked the book....narrator wanted to make me scrub my ears out with bleach!
Never ever use Allen Steele to narrate again unless he is reading The Bible.
I'm totally addicted to audio books! I listen when my eyes get too tired to read and when I am driving or just don't want to sit and read!
Yes, I only bought this book because of the first book in the series. I was so excited to get this one that I preordered it and boy what a dissappointment!
Honestly I haven't even finished the book...the narration is so bad!
IT WAS AWEFULL!
This was a wasted credit!
I liked the first book better......I cannot say if it was the narrator or story.....maybe the third one will be better
It was very hard to listen to this book. The narrator was soooooo wrong for this book. Mr. Steele needs to narrate OLD WESTERNS ONLY!!!! His voice was soooo not what I expected Noel's to sound like!!! What the Heck!!!
The narrator was boring. He had little to no inflection and his voice was SO wrong for the character Noel. I felt slightly dirty listening to him reading sex scenes. I got half way through the audiobook and realized I had no idea what was going on. I had tuned him out for over an hour. I was very disappointed that he was reading books 2 and 3.
The story is just as good as the first book. I love hearing more of Noel's side of things, BUT............
Why would they choose this narrator?!?! The character is supposed to be a 22 year old Rock God, but he sounds like the What-a-Burger commercial guy. I don't want to hear a grandpa talk about their intimate places. EW! I'm very torn on whether or not I can finish the series since he narrates part of book 2. This really gives me the creeps.
Allen Steele shouldn't read for characters younger than 45 years old, at the very least!!!!
I would have given a higher rating if the narrator sounded like the 20-something main character should have sounded. Instead he sounded like a 60-something older man.
Heart-tugging story. really enjoyed it.
Noel, of course. More heart than should be allowed by law.
Noel. I think Allen Steele did a remarkable job with this narration. I have to disagree with the other reviewers. Yes, Allen Steele is obviously not a 22-year-old kid, but since I am in my 40's, I appreciated a narrator that was more mature. AND he pronounced Noel's name in the correct masculine form. The female narrator of the previous book in this series did not.
