Fun Read with Roller Coaster Emotions

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

yes, because this series is good as a whole. all the guys in the band are good characters and they each deserve a book. also, this book was entertaining, just not my favorite.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

made Jessica not so mercurial. she was always exploding on Sed athat got on my nerve. i also would have Sed not take so much blame for the catastrophes in the book. they weren't all his fault.

What does Justine O. Keef bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

she brings the characters to life. their emotions, expressions, everything. it's more than words.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

of course. and buy it =D

Good, but not as good as the first book...

I really loved Sedric as a secondary character in the first book of this series and couldn't wait to read his story in this book. OC has a way of making these characters come to life that is entertaining and flat-out sexy! I love a hot book just as much as the next person but there were almost too many sex scenes in this one with overblown (no pun intended) descriptions. My only criticism for OC is that she learn to liberally sprinkle the book with hot scenes rather than saturate it. But the narrator is FANTASTIC!

Sed Rocked My Face Off - Scorchingly Passionate!

Where does Rock Hard rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The story itself is perfect - so hot, fully of emotion and does have a plot to it, I promise! I love Sed and Jessica's story...I loved it the first time I read it and listening to it only made me love it more.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rock Hard?

In Las Vegas at the Bellagio Fountains and on top of the Eiffel Tower ;-) Can't say anything else without giving it all away, but trust me...it's very memorable!

Which scene was your favorite?

So hard to pick a favorite...Vegas was fun, but the ending was probably my favorite - can't get specific without spoilers, but they both have the same idea and it's cute and heartwarming and SO them.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Rock Hard will rock your face off! Too cheesey? Compelling and sexy love story about the hard rocker and the girl that stole his heart.

This series is one of the best series I have ever read/listened to/had the pleasure of allowing into my brain. The Sinners are just...wonderful. If you love rock stars, have pension for romance stories, can't get enough hot-n-steamy love scenes and can stand a little bit of angst - look no further!

Sedric the Lionhearted

Not as strong as the first book but still fun. Pure escapism and the narrator does a good job with all the male voices.

Would you consider the audio edition of Rock Hard to be better than the print version?

Yes. When Justine narrates, the characters are distinct and she reads with great emotions that pulls you into the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The love/hate relationship between Jessica and Sedric. The best moment was her fury over him bringing the two girls into bus in front of her, and the scenes afterward.

Great followup to the first book in this series.

The second book in this series is just as good as the first! Love the guys in the band, loved that we got glimpses of how well Brian & Myrna (from the first book in the series) are doing. Have to admit that I liked Myrna's character better than Jessica, but maybe because I'm closer in age to Myrna than Jessica. LOL Once again, parts will make you cry, parts will make you laugh out loud, all of it is very entertaining. I listened to this while exercising - it helped me increase my time, distance and frequency. Kept me wanting to walk more so I could listen more! LOL

Rock On with Your Bad self...

After following the 1st book of the series I was interested to see what would happen to my 2 main charactors, but was mildly surprized that the story kind of changed the focus. And I see now we are going to examine each band members life. I like that!!! You are not stuck with how one couple feels, you get to lose yourself in a lot of different lives and loves and still find out about the 2 main charactors that the book started with. I am excited to get into book three and see which band member we are going with now... as they all lead exciting and lusty lives.... ROCK ON!!!!

Rock Hard

I did not like this one as much as the first book....while Sed and Jessica redeemed themselves by the end of the book, in the beginning he was just a pompous ass and she was a bitch and both were extremely childish. But as I said they did redeem themselves towards the end and I actually liked both of them by that point...

I did enjoy all the side stories of the rest of the band members, and liked seeing Brian and Myrna getting hitched.....and poor Trey had a really rough time of it in this one....I can't wait to get to his story...but I am going to read these in the intended order...not the stupid order the publisher decided to release thee series in

I love Olivia Cunnings books! She keeps me hooked from beginning to end. I can't wait to listen to the next book.
