Stella Gunn is the lead singer and lead guitarist of the Blue Moon Gypsies, and Stella used to be Mace’s girl. But Kai “Mace” Mason broke up with her and the loss of him rocked her world. One night, Stella gets a call, late (again), from one of the members of her crazy band. She has to go play clean up (again) and runs into Mace (and a shed load of police) and ends up getting shot. The usual rock chick storyline. What made this one different was the danger in this book was against all the rock chicks not just Stella, the heroine.

I loved Stella and I ached for her in the beginning. I didn't like how or why Mace broke up with her but it soothed when he does admit he screwed up.

I ached for Mace when I found out what happened to him in the past but he needed to bend a bit. I liked his character and he is one of my favorite H's in this series.

I'll keep repeating how awesome the narrator is, because she is. I am super picky with narrators and I actually think she enhances the story.

OMG I just love this book! All the Rock Chick are my favorite but Stella and Mase's Story is by far my favorite!

The epilogue jumps 5 years to the future and if you plan on readying the last two books in the series you won't want to hear the spoilers.

This would be my favorite so far, because Stella didn't spend all of her time being an idiot and making the situation worse. It was sooooooo refreshing! Don't get me wrong - I did enjoy the other books, but there were times in them when I wanted to kick the whiney ass of the female character. I am really hoping we have turned a page literally, so that the next two books will follow this type of character trait.

I also really enjoyed the peak into the other relationships we had already listened to as all the Rock Chicks were involved.

Favorite So Far!!!!

Mace had a tragic background that left him full of demons. Full of chemistry and passion, him and Stella had a rocky start. But Stella was just the one he needed to bring him out of his deep dark place. Their story was great. While not my favorite out of the series so far, it had the perk of hearing the thoughts of several other characters. Also, you get Indie and Lee's wedding and seeing their lives a few years later on.

Just can't say no to the hot bunch...
