Great storyline, realistic characters & narration!

Jill pulled off a male Brooklyn tough guy character with ease... she's so awesome. She has the enviable ability to bring a good book to life, and making it an even better book overall!

Yes... I did want to! Now, to find the author's other books.....

Exceptional Listen!

The negative reviews delayed my starting this one, but I’m so glad I decided to randomly play it on a whim. I regret waiting so long. Outstanding performance by the narrator, fast-paced story, sexy characters and drama... this one has it all. Don’t be put off by a few bad reviews. This is one of the better novels of this genre. I hardly pressed pause on this late night listen. It’s that good.

Outstanding narration, story was sadly predictable!

Jill Redfield has always been one of my favorite narrators. She is one the only female narrators that can actually portray a believable, Alpha-Male voice. In addition, she did a great Brooklyn accent; just spot on!

Unfortunately, it was obvious, from the start, who the ultimate corrupt cop was, so that took the anticipation away from the book, for me. In addition, the author used the one kind of angst that is so overdone and drives me crazy; misunderstanding between the Hero and Heroine because they don’t take the time to communicate. It is sooo trite and it annoys the crap out of me.

I enjoyed getting a update on Ruby and her love.(from the previous book) The story was as sexy as all Tessa Bailey’s books are. I love it but it is very Crass and if overt sex scenes bother you, choose a different author.

Although this definitely wasn’t one of my all time favorite books, with the exception of a few things, I found the book to be entertaining. With that being said, I’m glad that this book was included in the Romance/Escape package cause I didn’t like the book enough to spend one of my precious credits on.

You just can't go wrong with a book written by Tessa Bailey! This had all the dirty talking and passion you know Tessa delivers. And the audio could make you blush if you're in mixed company while listening.

LOVED IT!

This is the first book I’ve listened to from Tessa Bailey and I loved it! It made me laugh, cry, and HOT!All while I was on the edge of my seat. I love Jill Redfields narration. She does a great job bringing the characters to life and she draws you in to a whole different world. I’m hoping book 2 is just as good if not better.

Jill Redfield is so amazing! I sometimes struggle listening to a woman read from man's POV, but I have no such issue with Jill Redfield. I recomend listening to her 100%!
