Grace

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Any additional comments?

You never knew what was going to happen, hum drum books that you do not even have to hear all of are boring.

I LOVE This Series - Great Book 5 Stars

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rising Tides?

*

In the second installment of the series we are focused on Ethan, his past and it the similarities to young Seth.

Grace is a young mother who is doing any job she can to make a life for her young daughter. She is the housekeeper at the family home (Ethan and brothers) by day & barmaid/waitress by night.

Grace and Ethan have known each other forever and she has always had a thing for him & him for her. Ethan doesn't want to think about Grace, as she is quite a bit younger than him. This is a great romance story.

However, it is much more than a simple romance – actually complex romance. Much of the focus is on Ethan's life before he met the Quinn family and they rescued him from a horrible past. But because of that past he does not believe he is deserving or can care or love anyone.

Great narration – feminine female, male toddler, 12-year-old & elderly man are all done with near perfection.

I absolutely love this series. I just bought the last two!.

Notes: Description of sex, few cusses, the subject of child molestation runs throughout the book as characters try to deal with past.

Credit worthy/$ : Absolutely on either. I can to continue with the series but at the same time I want to take my time because I don't want to series to and. Does that make sense?

Worst Narrator

I love the Quinn brothers and this series and the narrator completely butchered it for me. I'm going to try the 3rd one with Phillip since it's a new narrator and hopefully it won't be too terrible. Phillip sounds like a girl right now....

The setting for this series is beautifully written.

Too many sex scenes, too descriptive and too violent. Felt like space fillers. The point can be made without so much time spent on each sex event.
