Publisher's summary

In beloved author Emily March's novel about a special place and its remarkable residents, a woman betrayed by life discovers the healing power of love in Eternity Springs.

Savannah Moore arrives in Eternity Springs alone, determined to put her troubled past behind her. Her handcrafted-soap shop fits right in with the magic of this warm and welcoming community - but the sexy, suspicious local sheriff promises to upset her hard-won happiness.

Zach Turner knows this woman means trouble - maybe to his town. Possibly to his friends. Definitely to his heart. Something about this simmering Southern beauty does crazy things to his committed bachelor status, taunting him with possibilities far beyond his dedication to his sometimes dangerous job. So when Savannah's dark past follows her to town, wreaking havoc with both their lives, Zach will fight for all he's worth - for a love he can't afford to lose.

Darker and sexier than others

This book was a lot darker and way more sexy than the rest of the series. It felt like it didn't fit in as well.

The story was great though.

The narrator. So sorry. Not my favorite. She did ladies voices great, but the men.....

Can wait for the next one in the series to come out!

Some twists and curveballs.

The best novel of this series. Get ready for some tears. A little more surprising than the others.

Male protagonist is an ass

Others seem to like the character of the sheriff, but he is a bit of an ass. He talks about sleeping with the female protagonist to “get her out of his system“ as if she didn’t have any say in the matter. She makes her feelings about a relationship clear, but then, when she doesn’t change her mind, just because he wants her to, he becomes antagonistic. Then when her nephew is falsely accused of a crime, knowing that she had been falsely convicted of one, he tells her to enjoy her victimhood. I don’t understand how women can write make characters that treat female characters so poorly. This is by far my least favorite book in the series. The others aren’t great literature, but they are at least diverting. This one is insulting.

Great story, subpar narration

As always, I loved returning to Eternity Springs. Unfortunately, this audiobook (and apparently the rest of the series going forward) has a different narrator. It was not a change for the better.

Love Love Love

I loved Zack from the second we meet him. I was so happy that we got his book and a feisty heroine in Savannah. Being the sherif he needed someone to spice up his life. Not only was this book great but it also opens up this series to new characters to love! Can’t wait to start the next one!

Çute, heartwarming stories, but no diversity

I'm disappointed that all 5 books I read in this series so far have all Caucasian characters, all the women are described as absolutely beautiful, and all the men are handsome or gorgeous. No diversity whatsoever. Yes, it's a small town but how is it possible for everyone to be White and beautiful? No Hispanics, no Asians, no Pacific Islanders, no Blacks. I will not be reading anymore of this series.

Good story, bad performance

It's a good story, a great sequel in the Eternity Springs saga. But the narration is killing me. Her southern accent isn't horrible, her narration and main voice are good, but her alternate voices, especially the men, definitely need work.

Nice escape

Storyline is predictable, narrator not as good as others in this series. Wish trauma therapies and romance timelines were a bit more realistic and longer. And maybe each story doesn’t have to center so much on sex, lover fixing trauma. But an entertaining story as a middle book in this addictive series .
