Publisher's summary

Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

Very 50 Shades

Would you consider the audio edition of Reflected in You to be better than the print version?

No, I believe reading this book would have made it better for me. The performance was great, but your own imagination would make this book even hotter.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the family and friend dynamics, which I wasn't expecting, but it made the story more lovable.

Which character – as performed by Jill Redfield – was your favorite?

Ava's mother, for sure. She made me laugh. Kerry was also great, but Ava's mom was classic.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

No clue.

Any additional comments?

I was bummed because I listened to this book before the first book in the series, not realizing I had them out of order. Wish they would have been numbered to keep me straight.

yes the story was griping and I loved it I hope she writes another one for this series both books were well written.

What other book might you compare Reflected in You to and why?

50 shades and it was so much better the plot was more realistic.

Which scene was your favorite?

the fight she had with his mother.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

the part when the detective told her how she summed it all up for her she had no idea.

Any additional comments?

I would love to see this become a movie.

Wow, what a story!

I have to say I enjoyed this second book even more than the first book. Jill Redfield did a great narration, and I did not expect the story to end the way it did. I can't wait until December when the last book comes out!

Contines to get better!

I downladed this book immediately after finishing Book 1. I was drawn completely into the story and love both the characters, maybe because they are both so damaged. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book!

So Gooooooooooooodddddddddd

So in this book we find few more things about Gideon and Eva; and at the same time we also understand their chemistry with each other. Again Jill Redfield was the icing on the cake with this book. Then there is Sylvia Day and her creative mind. OMG this book is to die for,

Fantastic

I love this series! The actual story is very well crafted and the first time I read it I could not put it down. Listening to it is just another great way to experience Eva and Gideon’s story.

I’d kill for you, give up everything I own for you

Oh man, do I love Gideon Cross! This was book two in the roller coaster of Gideon and Eva. Their love story is a roller coaster but I do love how fierce they both love each other. This book had a shock that I did not see coming but it made me love Gideon's love for Eva. Does that make me crazy, possible but I am okay with that. On to book 3 I go!

I didn’t expect that

As in the first novel, Jill Redfield’s narration was fantastic. She has excellent range and pacing.

I knew, obviously, that Ms. Day was going to make something happen, probably something violent, but I didn’t expect the extremity she introduced into the story. It was unsettling.

So screwed up...but addicting!

Like all fiction, there are certain crazy things you must accept in order to have a good story -- the existence of vampires in Dallas or talking animals, etc. This book has a lot of such things you must just accept as necessary for the plot to proceed. For instance, the main characters, Gideon and Ava, are in a hopelessly screwed-up relationship. They have all kinds of problems, but then can have sex anywhere, anyplace, anytime. For me this became boring and then ridiculous. I started turning the narrator speed to 2X as soon as they started getting amorous.

All that being said, I really am invested in the relationship between Ava and Gideon and anxiously await the next book which will hopefully result in questions being answered and a happy ending for these two tortured lovers!

Narrator is awesome.
