Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.
My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.
We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

"A steamy read that will have you furiously flipping pages." (Glamour)
"When it comes to brewing up scorchingly hot sexual chemistry, Day has few literary rivals." (Booklist)
This is a husband wife account. You will see a wide variety of books
I loved it.
She was fine for the female parts, but I have never liked when a female tries to read male parts of a book.
I would listen to this book on my way to work and on the way home. I would find myself taking the long way home so I could continue to listen. Great book.
There was nothing I really liked. It was just a OK listen. This book reminded me of 50 shades with less spankings and a gay BFF roommate. Oh and two people with 'issues' not one.
A lot of things
I have read and listened to a lot of sexually hot novels but this is not your usual sexually hot novel. The characters are so broken and complex that the sex is not the total focus of the book. I don't want to give anything away but in my opinion you won't regret this purchase.
I am a busy sports mom listening to romance only. If the narrator is good and it has a decent plot, I will find it enjoyable.
The wrap up.
Enjoyed her. Thought she was realistic.
Some people compare this book to 50 Shades and I must say I enjoyed Shades much more, but I enjoyed this. Its not realistic or makes me want to go out and improve my life, but it was enjoyable read.
I would recommend this book. I would make sure to tell them it''s an unhealthy love story that is very intriguing.
I love the romance
Id liked the way the narrator changed the voices and the way she interpreted.
I read the first book, and i have to tell that this one was nice but the first one was much better.
the way she interpreted and the funny changes she did when a funny part came in the book
I loved when they escaped to the beach house. Living on the water all my life I could imagine hearing and smelling the ocean while I walked on the beach with our star crossed lovers listening on there private conversation.
The sex was great! More real to me than in most stories.
I'm not sure if I've heard any other Jill Redfield performances but she did a great job on the Crossfire novels.
For the love of obsesion.
I can't wait for the next book!!!!!!!!
I always listen instead of read!
Yes in the first bood Bared to you. Entertaing as usual.
Yes I couldn't take the head phones off
Love the characters, and the backround and buildup of characters and their connections. The unexpected twists were great, and the hot romance was HOT! Didn't want to put this down....and want more!!!!
