Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.
My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.
We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

"A steamy read that will have you furiously flipping pages." (Glamour)
"When it comes to brewing up scorchingly hot sexual chemistry, Day has few literary rivals." (Booklist)
Yes...yes...a thousand times yes!!! If you are a fan of the genre, I don't think it gets much better.
The most memorable moment was in the car when he confessed what happened to him as a child. I cried...actually cried while driving home from work. My husband thought something terrible had happened to me and I couldn't explain why I was so upset over a book!
I love every scene with Cary...even if he is being bad. I want a roommate like him...someone who will do my hair and help me pick out clothes...someone who will love me warts and all and be my friend for the rest of my life!!!
The car scene I already mentioned...and then the scene at the very end. I cannot wait for the next book!!!
Look, the romance books are changing And Sylvia Day is leading the way.
Gideon and Ava. The Sex is. Totally awesome, butThere is a great story attached.
OMG. She is a great Narrator. I put her upWith Xe Sands. And that is a great honor.
Sylvia? Keep em coming!!!! Jill? You are newly anointed!!!
This was my absolute favorite "Romance Audiobook". I even listened to the Fifty Shades Trilogy and it was dull in comparison.
I loved that we got a better sense of Gideon. Once the story really started to unfold I was sucked in completely. Gideon was dominate and strong despite Ava's inability to comply.
I really appreciate her getting into the sexual bits... It takes the story to an entirely different level.
I listened to this book in a complete day. I could not stop, I needed to know where this was going.
Please listen!!! Jill is the best narrator.
who came first Reflected in You? or 50 shades of gray? So similar, it could be a mirrow copy, same storyl, same caracters, different channel. Disapointing
Yes I would Listen To it again. Because It was a well written book and it was extremely well narrated.
That it sounded real like real conversations and not just talking to your self.
Probably the scene where shes telling Cary to "Take care of it before You go" I laughed so hard.
Yes definitely but not without head phones sh*t gets steamy.
I LOOOVVEE that they stuck with the same narrator its my biggest problem with audiobook series is when they change the narrator
Tell us about yourself!
The story is intriguing and sweet. The sex is hot and the love story is deep. A story that make you want that kind of love. Eva and Gideon continue the romance and exploration of their relationship. The trust that developss between the two finally allows Gideon to tell part of his tragic story. The flow of the story makes you wanting for more.
The honesty and the confession of Gideon to Eva. You can feel the love and understanding that is between the two...explains a bit more into the nightmares that haunt Gideon.
Eva...of course...I really like that the narrator really gets the emotion of Eva's character. Even in the hot and steamy parts of the book.
If I had all day to listen to this story I would. Its that good. I've listened to it 3 times since I purchased it.
I wish more narrators were into the characters as Ms. Redfield has. I can see and really feel the emotions of the characters. I like that you can define the difference between female characters and even the males.
The love story and the heat from love and desire.
The way it captured you and drew me in to connect with the relationship.
All were my favorites. I could.wait to get the next book and it was as good and streaming. Book three is already preordrered.
Thee entire Crossfire series has moved me. It make believe in love and passion all over again
I hope the romance does end in book three. Great writing is hard to find. I loved Fifty Shades bit Crossfire series tops my favorites reads. Love it.
HATE spoilers! Enjoy HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. Books outside HOT genre = books given to me to review
Yes, although I'd warn that it contains adult language & themes.
Discovering more about Gideon & Eva's characters and background.
Yes, she did Bared to You as well.... equally great performances.
No extreme reactions-ever. However, it made me think and curious for more...
Intense. Hot. Interesting.
Gideon was the hard edged sexy man we all lust for. His vulnerabilities and his obsessive need for his woman just made him even better.
She had the ability to make all her males voices sound realistic. Something that other female narrators have difficulty with. She was great.
Extreme reaction yes. I didnt want it to end..
Ok, so I knew what I was getting into when I started listening to this book, since it is a sequel, yet I thought it would pick up and have some kind of substance to it. There was no plot whatsoever except for the last fourth of the book. What we have is umpteen pages of: sex, withhold secrets from each other, argue about that, more sex, more sex, withhold secrets REPEAT. I rolled my eyes so many times during this book...it was that bad at times. That being said, the narrator of the audiobook did a wonderful job, but the story...ugh.
"Another great book"
The second book is better than the first if that was possible. Cannot wait for the third one to be released. Excellent. Giddeon and Ava are worthy contenders for Chrstian and Ana but the Crossfire books are better written.
I absolutely loved Bared to You - in fact it was one of my favourite books of the year - so I couldn't wait to spend more time with Gideon and Eva in Reflected in You.Even better than the first, the chemistry between Gideon and Eva is hot I love how the books end with no cliff hangers but leave you wanting more.
If I was producing the abridged version - sex, flatmate gets hurt, sex, Gideon discovers Ava's secret past, sex, Ava discovers Gideon's secret past, sex, the end. Needless to say it was all a bit monotonous.
This title grabbed me, I loooved the content and narration. I fully enjoyed listening to this book.
Well done Sylvia Day and thanks for the wonderful narration Jill Redfield
"Better then the first"
Narration was brilliant yet again, can't fault it. It would probably benefit from having a male doing Gideons part, but she made it work well enough with what she had.
I was pretty fed up with the constant break ups every 5 minutes, it was worse then Blaire and Chick Bass (Gossip Girl). Also the story twists didn't really go anywhere, the conclusion was pretty dull. But the fact I listened all the way through means I'm probably not giving it enough credit.
"unbelievably amazing !!!"
I didn't think I could experience so many emotions in such a short amount of time. I have been on the edge of my seat on sentenced gripped with anticipation and giggling like a school girl at the next sentence.
Fantastic writing which really pulls you in. Aided by the extremely well delivered narration. The voice variations plus the descriptives help bring the characters and the story alive.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND and to enforce that I'm now going to start book 3.
Have fun and enjoy 😀
"Not so good!"
Got really fed up with over-analytical nonsense, that is built between Gideon and Eva. Is it sex or commitment?
Excellent loved every minute of it.
Both, I laughed and cry and really felt for the characters
