How do you come back from the biggest screw-up of your life? That's the question for Lawton Rastor, the billionaire bad boy from Detroit, after he lets the girl of his dreams not just slip through his fingers, but run away, fast - and with good reason.
How do you resist a guy who's irresistible? That's the question for Chloe Malinski, the world's most overqualified waitress, after a nightmarish night leaves her vowing to avoid her fantasy guy for good - no matter how hard he works to win her back.
Chloe finds Lawton impossible to resist. Lawton finds Chloe impossible to forget. But finding that place to belong isn't easy when neither one knows where the other truly comes from.

Wow I didn't think two people could break up and make up so much. With so many secrets between the two of them they could never be happy. Lawson and Chloe have a major roller coaster in this book. However there is no question he loves her and has her back through it all. Bishop is a dark and difficult man but he tries harder in this book to win Chloe over. This is book 2 of a series and is worth the money and time to read!! Now must wait till July to get Bishops story can't wait!
Ummm Lawton and bishop should be all that is needed to be said!!
Really enjoyed both books . It was quite interesting with more complexity than I had expected! Very satisfied with this purchase.
1st book was good but 2nd book was just aggravating. Chloe was stupid and let everyone walk all over her, the romance was meh and the prior meeting 5 years ago unnecessary and unbelievable. Usually I like Sabrina Stark's books and Unbelonging was no different but this one- I ended up skipping through almost half the book.
I love reading, and listening to Audio books, it helps me escape reality, and allows me to live in someone elses world for a while.
Usually series books by the 2nd book, kind of lose their juice. But I actually enjoyed the 2nd part just as much as the first part of this series. You learn more about Chloe, and what Lawton is capable of. Some twists you certaibly dont expect, and yet again the narration is on point. Making this a book I constantly come back to, as my go to re-read/re-listen.
I was hoping for more of a story...felt as though it dragged on and I lost interest in the story
Erin's narration was fine, it was the story line that needed more
I was tired of the diner scene's; too many
This authors lives in her characters head to much instead of giving the storyline, and the storyline could've been good. Disappointed is understated! Tried reading her other book Jaked and couldn't even finish it !
Always ready for my next smutty story.
I am rating this two part book as one since really it is just one long story.
First and most importantly Lawton is a win for me. He is kinda my dream man and that is probably why Chloe ticked me off so much and on a regular basis. I'm so tired of stories where it is based on misunderstandings and not feeling like they could be honest. There were a couple of times where I just wanted to stop reading the book because I was so cursing mad at Chloe and her obvious immaturity, but Lawton kept me going.
I loved that this had a fully developed story to be told and I really enjoyed following it to the end, however I would have loved more intimate scenes that would allow me to get a FULL understanding of Lawton's Texas sized "skills" ;)
Took away a half star because of Chloe pissing me off on a regular.
The voicer was fantastic and I loved the character choices she made. She kept me in the story.
oh yea it is best for me as I do not have time to read but do have time to listen
"An OK listen"
Although I was e expecting for more drama and even though it had some drama, suspense and love I still think it could have been somewhat better.
It is still an OK read but I believe it was missing a pouring heart into the writing.
I am giving 4 stars because 3 stars sounds too harsh
