Elizabeth Moss is amazing!
I can't believe I found Ms. Moss! This was my 1st book from her. I love Tudor and Queen Elizabeth era Historical Romance! This was a steamy love story between a beautiful headstrong lady and a duty bound handsome lover!
I love this Narrator, her English accent and female and male voice are perfect.
This book was a wondeful delight to read, and I'd highly recommend it.

I listened to this for the Audible Romance Category challenge and I enjoyed it.
I love a strong female lead but she protested too much for my taste. It felt like it took her too long to get it. And he was the same way, he knew he wanted her but it took him until the end to admit he loved her. This book has a lot of drama but it didn't take over the entire story. This book was like 80% sex, not what I expected from this genre.
The narration was good. I didn't notice anything specific about her so that means a good narrator too me!

How Rebellious can anyone actually be😤
This story was really good but the female lead was annoying. Period wise, this level of rebellion was just ignorant. I mean who makes terrible decisions and unsubstantiated assumptions the entire story? Smh

I find spanking as a punishment repulsive.
I know that women did not have the rights in this time period that they have now. I also realize that everyone draws their boundaries differently and have the right to their opinions. However, that includes me as well and so here goes.
I do not enjoy reading about a spanking done as an angry punishment with the male passing paternal-like judgement as if the female is a child. I find physical abuse unforgivable. Conversely, if a spanking is done WITH CONSENT in a playful manner and understood that either the male or the female can be the one to deliver then I have no discomfort in reading it. Otherwise, it is repulsive to me so I stopped reading at Chapter 6 and will not be selecting this author's writings again.
