Publisher's summary

There's only one girl he wants, the girl he lost.

After finding, and then losing, the girl of his dreams, billionaire bad boy Lawton Rastor will do anything to win her back. Anything. Because it's his fault she's gone, and life without her hurts infinitely more than any punch he's ever taken. He loves her. He wants her. And he's ready to fight for her.

She's Chloe Malinski, the plucky college grad who shares his fence, a secret history, and a love of dogs. But to this billionaire bad boy from Detroit, this certain girl-next-door is the only thing that matters. Can he win her back? And if he does, can he keep her?

In Unbelonging and Rebelonging, we heard their unforgettable love story from Chloe, the one girl who captured his heart. Now, in Lawton and Rastor, this fan-favorite bad boy finally tells his side of the story.

Thanksgiving is Everything!

Rastor is the conclusion of Lawton & Chloe's story. While I loved Unbelonging and Rebelonging, I always thought to myself "I wonder what Lawton was thinking!" Thankfully, Sabrina Stark is apparently a mind reader, so she published Lawton and Rastor, which give us Lawton's POV for the events we read about in Unbelonging and Rebelonging, as well as just a little bit more.

Without giving away too much, Thanksgiving dinner is a major plot event in the 1st 2 books. Hearing what was happening from Lawton's POV is everything. I was pretty sure I was in love with Lawton Rastor before, but Thanksgiving made him swoon-worthy! You don't have to have read Unbelonging and Rebelonging to love Lawton and Rastor, but getting the whole picture is very much worth it.

Again, this relatively unknown narrator really worked for me. I hope he gets more work from these books.

I am a notorious re-reader (re-listener). Even before the audiobooks came out, I re-read both Lawton and Rastor a couple of times. I enjoyed the story so much that I ended up having to re-read Illegal Fortunes as well because I wanted to catch up with Bishop :)

Definitely worth the credit.... technically 2 credits because you must listen to Lawton too.

Great Story with Fantastic Narration

Any additional comments?

Once again the story pulls you in immediately and never lets go. This book is just as entertaining and enjoyable as the first one was. If you haven't listened to the "whole" series don't let that stop you the two books that are from Lawton's POV tell the complete story just from one POV.

It's an interesting and fun aspect that you can get the story from one side or both sides. Seeing how each interpreted what was going on at a given time in the story.

As I said before I could tell you all kinds of really great things about the story but bottom line, you just need to listen to it and discover all the yummy goodness that is Lawton Rastor for yourself. You won't be disappointed. It's worth it. Your time and credit.

Lawton messed up. Big time. He jumped to conclusions, took action before he knew all the fact's and it blew up in his face. He has his work cut out for him in trying to earn Chloe's forgiveness and have a chance at a HEA with her.

Connor Brown is back again as the voice of Lawton Rastor. Once again he does a fantastic job with the narration. He was the perfect choice for this series. Nice voice, just how you want your rough around the edges bad boy to sound. Great character voices. Perfect tone an delivery of the humor/sarcasm. Clearly spoken with a smooth even pace. He has one of those voices that just pulls you right in and brings the characters and story to life. Very enjoyable

Loved it

Loved it. Just like the first the story was great just redundant. If the 2 stories could be combined, I feel it would be the best book out there. A little disappointed that the other family members weren't included. With Jakes and Lawton being siblings & famous it should have cross referenced.

Fantastic Series!

What did you love best about Rastor?

I love Lawton's perspective! And being able to read/listen to his perspective gives me a different side of Lawton, that Connor helps with as well narrating this book. Lawton seems more down to earth, not this unreachable meat head that is full of himself.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lawton of course! How dedicated he is, laid back, and realistic. His instincts are very attractive as well, he can read people, even the fake ones.

What about Connor Brown’s performance did you like?

Connor did amazing! His voice was the PERFECT pick for Lawton, he brought Lawton to life, I found myself just sitting here listening and forgetting the task I was doing. He made Lawton more approachable, and more down to earth.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, most definitely! I actually enjoyed listening to Lawton's perspective a lot more than Chloe's. Getting a different side of Bishop as well, and his relationship with Lawton. And what they do behind the scenes that we were all curious about in the unbelonging/rebelonging series.

Any additional comments?

Awesome work, Sabrina and Connor! You both made this series even better! Definitely my top favorite, and will for sure be added to my paperback collection as well!
