During his decade as an international pop star, Jesse McCall has lived every day in the fast lane. A committed hedonist reveling in amazing highs, globetrotting, and nameless encounters, he refuses to think about his loneliness or empty future. Then tragedy strikes. Shocked and grieving, he sheds his identity and walks away, searching for peace. Instead, he finds Bristol Reese, a no-nonsense beauty scraping to keep her business afloat while struggling with her own demons. He's intent on seducing her, but other than a pleasure-filled night, she's not interested in a player, especially after her boyfriend recently proposed to her sister.
In order to claim Bristol, Jesse has to prove he's not the kind of man he's always been. But when she learns his identity and his past comes back to haunt him, how will he convince her that he's a changed man who wants nothing more than to make her his forever?

I may be addicted to audiobooks. I love my husband and my kids but I get a chance to escape with the books and be someone else for a while
I've waited for the story of Jesse McCall since the the second book in the series came out but, in all honesty it was worth the wait. Jesse came across as a man who is into sex, drugs and hedonistic behaviors however, after the death of one of his friends, he decides to"take some time off". During that time off, he meets the girl of his dreams and falls in love. The road to redemption is long and painful, he proves his love and wind the girl.... Christian Fox does a phenomenal job narrating. This book was well worth the credit..... two thumbs up... well done Shayla!!!!!
I love, love, loved this little ditty. I was glad for Jessie's story, and to hear of his redemption. The characters were charming and believable. And with Christian Fox narrating, it had to be a winner. Thanx!
