Lily LeBlanc isn't versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she's definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend's boyfriend's best friend? What could possibly go wrong?
NHL player Randy Ballistic lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy's more than happy to be Lily's springboard back into the dating scene. But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone's bound to get pucked over.

Violet in the first and second book was absolutely hilarious!! In this book she is made out to be a super annoying dumb bimbo instead of her usual chill hilarious self. I could barely handle listening to some of her parts. She was my fav in the first two books so that was disappointing.
I find it's really important for the voices to be pleasant to listen to even if I adore the story as much as I adore this one. When I got to the first time Jacob Morgan was reading a sexual scene I was "engaged" fully with the narration. The girl was great, though not as fun as book 1's female narrator, but Jacob Morgan has just knocked Sebastian York to my 2nd favorite male narrator. Fantastic!
At first I was about to turn off this audio and request a refund based on the female narrators voice. However I loved book 1 so much I stuck it out and kept going. Her voice grew on me and her male voice wasn't half bad. The story itself was kind of the same way, at first I wasn't too impressed but then after a while it grew on me and turned out not to be terrible, but just ok. I loved book one but this book didn't even come close for me, I don't know if it was because of the narration or the storyline or a combination of the two but I found it lacking. If you're new to the series you may enjoy it more than I did but if you are a fan of book 1 you may be disappointed as the narrators have changed and the storyline loses a little something. I'm on the fence on this one.
Let me know if you should happen to find the storyline on this clunker! I found a little bit of storyline followed by sex scene, sex scene, sex scene. The author would then give the reader a little piece of storyline followed by... You guessed it, more sex scenes. What a boring book. Save your money. I will be requesting a refund on this clunker! Frankly, I expected a hell of a lot more from this author. She should be ashamed of herself for releasing this dud!
Thank goodness the characters had the appropriate accents this time.
I have to say though, the narrator really made Violet seem obnoxious and over the top. She didn't come off that way in the first book. Then again, I guess I should say it was the author that wrote Violet's dialogue that way.
I couldn't listen passed 5 minutes. Granted I didn't get into the story at all, but after the droning, nearly moaning, tone of the narrator gave me 4 separate slang terms for her pubic area, I had had enough.
Too busy to read as much as I'd like, Audible is the perfect solution. I'm a romance reader mostly, but can stray into any story.
Third book in the series (on Audible, I think in the book series there is a .5 in there somewhere) and it follows Randy and Lilly. Randy is a hockey player who doesn't want to turn out like his dead beat dad and Lilly is an ice skater who wasn't able to live her dreams because of her own dead beat dad.
Both battle the situation differently and go into a casual relationship for different reasons but end up finally in the same place.
I love Lilly, she is so sarcastic but then explains the sarcasm like she is so clever, no one else would understand. Cracked me up.
Randy is so super serious but the tatts and the beard and the highly sensitive personality won me over.
I loved that we got visits with the other Pucked characters and I sooooo want a Lance book. Like yesterday with that accent.
Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan were great narrators! Rose was perfect with her Canadian accent and Jacob had the tortured soul angst down pact.
YES!! Pucked Over is the sexiest, hottest, most sensual book of the series so far. Lily and Randy are sex machines! *chuckles*, and I was eager to repeat their steamiest moments on audiobook.
All the bathroom scenes!! *chuckles* Actually, to my surprise this second time to enjoy this story I was focused on more deeper aspects of their relationship, their personalities and the interaction with all their friends. And the unthinkable happened: I LOVE RANDY AND LILY MORE NOW!!
This is my first time with Rose and Jacob.Jacob Morgan did an amazing performance for Randy. His voice and inflexions and different tones made Randy’s chapters super awesome to listen, but Rose Dioro didn’t do it quite good for my liking. Don’t get me wrong, her tone of voice is so Lily, and her voices for the other girls in the book were great, but her pace and the male voices wasn’t as good as I am used to. After a few chapters I decided to get over it and just enjoy the story, and despite Rose, I loved Pucked Over audiobook.
I would listen to it as many times as possible just because this book as all the other books from the series are super awesome!!
WOW! I already loved this book a ton but now with this audio and hearing the words come to life... Just Awesome! The narrators Pucked this one straight to the goal line with delivering a spectacular performance of a must listen to book! This book will be on repeat!
The video text scene! Just sooo darn sexy!
Chapter 23! Enough Said.
When Randy finally realizes he is falling hard for Lily!
"some funny bits 3.5*"
As expected, very sweet story. I'd read Pucked so knew some of the characters, however Violet just irritated me.
The story was lovely -straight forward romance no near death experiences, just plain old feelings and good nookie. I really like the characters and it was well narrated, the Scottish guy sounded more Irish to me but it's a hard accent to replicate, esp if your an American narrator.
