Publisher's summary

Media consultant Veronica St. John has been hired to teach a rugged Navy SEAL to impersonate a European prince who's been targeted by terrorists. But one conversation and Veronica knows there's no way she can turn streetwise New Yorker Joe Catalanotto into nobility. Joe, on the other hand, is confident he's got what it takes. Two days isn't a lot of time to get the job done...but it's enough time to fall in love.

Prince Joe

I enjoyed this quick novel. The narrator sounded very 90's in this book which actually fits the time period, so I liked it. This is a HEA, so why not spend a credit on a cheesy HEA!

sweet story reminds me of...

the old harlequin books, very light on the sex, super heavy on the vanilla, but a sweet light read

Dull Narration

The narrator sounded so out of character. She made the different individuals sound so unfeeling. Everything was bland.

Another Sus story!

Suzanne Brockmann is always a great bet for wonderfully distracting entertainment! She deserves the best sellers list as usual, even on her first military romance series.

Prince Joe

Great book. One of the best of Suzanne Brockmann's seal novels. It would be wonderful to get all the 11 in this series on audio.

Not new

I would like a highly visable original copyright date noted with each "info" on books. This is an older book reissued. Get frustrated that I need to do so much research before a purchase to know if it is a new or OLD book. Good and simple, interesting to see the progression on the author from this book to her troubleshooters series.

Loved this story!

This is the first book I've listened to by Suzanne Brockmann and I can't wait to listen to &/or read more of her stories!
I've listened to several audiobooks & this one is now at the top of my list of favorites! The narration is one of the things I consider when rating the audioibooks I listen to & this is a perfect example of how a well done naration (or in this case performance) truly enhances the story. Ashley Adlon is now one of my favorite narators (along with Savannah Richardson, Natalie Ross, Joyce Bean, and Renee Raudman, Sanda Burr and James Daniels).
This is a story you will honestly get lost in & while I usually only listen to audioooks in the car this one was so good I listened to it everywhere & anywhere since I just couldn't put it down!

Goose bumps!

This is a well written quick read.. I sometimes get frustrated with the 'chase' of the main characters when it is drawn out forever. I can't say that about this book. I like how the character's stay true to themselves and find love based on who they are inside! Then add the excitement of the Navy Seals ( Navy Mom here, so I am a little bias, lol). A fun book!

Definitely a prince!

What made the experience of listening to Prince Joe the most enjoyable?

Kept my attention through the entire book. Plus it is a quick listen. I don't feel like I should be almost finished by the time the end rolls around. Some books are way too long and you feel like you have been listening for hours on end, just trying to get to a good part. This book/series has been keeping my attention throughout.

What other book might you compare Prince Joe to and why?

I would call them a modern day version of Johanna Lindsey's Malory/Anderson series. Only instead of a powerful family of blood relatives, you have a powerful group of men who would consider each their brother. It has loyalty between the seals, a strong female lead, comedy, romance, misunderstandings and much more. The stories for both series' are entertaining and enjoyable from start to finish.

What does Ashley Adlon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Good diversity in the characters voices. Animation and believability in the difference between man and woman. Character distinction is consistent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. I laughed and cried. Especially toward the end of the book. I needed a box of tissues!
