You know me.
Come on, you know you do.
Maybe you pretend you don't. Maybe you clear your browser history religiously. Maybe you pretend to be aghast whenever someone even mentions the word porn in your presence.
But the truth is that you do know me.
Everybody knows Logan O'Toole, world famous porn star.
Except then Devi Dare pops into my world, and pretty soon I'm doing things that aren't like me - like texting her with flirty banter and creating an entire web porn series just so I can get to star in her bed. Again. And again.
With Devi, my entire universe shifts, and the more time I spend with her, the more I realize that Logan O'Toole isn't the guy I thought he was. So maybe I'm not the guy you thought I was either.

"An original storyline with witty writing, captivating characters and scorching hot sex that also managed to make me highly emotional. Everything I want in a book!" (New York Times best-selling author Penelope Ward)
"Fascinating, sexy and utterly surprising, Porn Star is an unconventional, page-turning, hot romance with a sweet heart hero. Yes, he is a sweetie pie!" (Lauren Blakely, New York Times best-selling author)
Loved this one. I was a little skeptical thinking it would be nothing but sex scenes but I was very pleasantly surprised. The sex scenes were incredible but there was a lit of emotional depth. The relationship was so believable. I also liked the commentary about the porn industry and the question this story raises about monogamy and sexuality. I also loved Devi's parents, They were great secondary characters.
Jacob Morgan is a perfect fit for Logan. CJ bloom was pretty good too but her male imitations were laughable. However I still think she was a good choice to voice Devi.
Say something about yourself!
Although the name is as suggestive as it sounds, I was not prepared for the amount of descriptive sex in this book. I don't say that as a bad thing at all! It was actually quite an educational listen. I learned so much as to what it takes to make a porn scene and Porn star really delivers. CJ Bloom , Jacob Morgan really do an excellent job as Devi and Logan. I hate speaking ill in my reviews but as to not lie CJ Bloom's male voice as Logan didn't quite do it for me, though it did not deter me from listening I did want to mention it. Her transitions from character to character were flawless and she does a great job differentiating them.
With both having secret crushes on each other, Porn Star follows Devi and Logan as they try to develop a relationship within the porn world. The question is whether they are able to seperate their work life from their personal life.
The story was mediocre and sometimes just plain silly. The narration was so so... not bad on female parts, but really bad on male parts...sounded like a bad case of laryngitis! No I cannot recommend this audiobook to anyone...
Have only listen to the audio but I will be reading the printed version, due to the fact that I`m not 100% sold on the way the audio made me view the book/story.
This is my first for both of these authors in the audio world
Both did a great job with the Logan and Devi, as for my favourite I`ll leaning towards Devi.
What can I say, I didn`t not like this story I just found it hard to get past the fact that Devi`s parents are cool with her doing Porn.
Loved this one, despite what the title of the book may suggest this one is so much more than just porn stars. It's so far removed from the norm and monotony of other books on the market and such a good listen. Don't get me wrong it's highly erotic and pleasureful but it's also romantic and sweet and has a good story line. If you are looking for that next "diamond in the rough" kind of book, want a storyline that strays from the conventional romance, and can stand a little "heat", then I would absolutley recommend you give this book a try!
5 Crazy Ass Must Read/Listen Stars!!!!!
It was SMUTASTIC! The title is aptly named but there's so much more to it than that. I was a bit hesitant because there has been an influx of porn-themed books that came out and a few where just a bit much. However, I'm a huge Laurelin Paige fan so my hesitation didn't last long especially when I used my audible credit and I could listen to it.
I really enjoyed Logan and Devi's story. It was friggin' scorching but it was also sweet, frustrating at times, and I even shed a few tears.
Lauren Paige and Sierra Simone did a great job collaborating on this. I wouldn't hesitate to read more from this duo.
I'm a open minded baker 🍰 who spends all night at work 😴 listening to🔥romance book's that take my mind to new exciting places 🏖
The title alone tell's you it's a graphic listen. If you don't like dirty talking characters this isn't the book for you. I don't mind so I liked it. Logan O'Toole (what a great name) really won me over. At first I thought he was going to be a smutty porn star who only cares about himself. But I accully found Logan to be very likable. The fact that Devi Dare wasn't immuture for her age made her character very likable as well. Both character's delivered humor and heart. It was interesting to see how star's in this industry manage dating and love. This was my first book narrated by Jacob Morgan it won't be my last. Overall this book was everything I thought it would be and more. Definitely worth a credit so Don't miss out on this one!
Does it make you feel better to no vote all my reviews? Sad. If it makes you happy have at it then. Hope it brings you a little joy.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book, well because I don’t read blurbs if I can help it.
I enjoyed the beginning and the end a lot. It was around the middle I waffled a little not that it was bad just that it wasn’t holding my interest very well, but it did pick up so I am glad I stuck with it. :)
Logan O’Toole and Devi Dare I mean freaking great names right!
I don’t want to give the same regurgitated review. So I am going to just speak to you like a friend and tell you about the book that way.
Both porn stars and they meet 3 years ago. What is sweet and unexpected was they both couldn’t stop thinking about one another. So when they bump into each other again, feeling start happening pretty fast.
They start working on a project together and sparks are a flying! Damn did they fly. As the story progresses you can see how much these two want to be with each other, only is a porn star life conducive to a real relationship? That’s really the big question....
Would I recommend this book yes, I think it had a hell of a lot of Hot Sexy times, with a pretty good story-line. I would tell my bestie about it for sure. If only to say you have to meet Logan O’Toole lol best book boyfriend name EVER!!!
This audiobook was certainly original and new! The story is of two porn stars who fall in love with each other and how it changes their thinking regarding their livelihoods. The hero, Logan, keeps thinking they can separate work from their private life and the heroine, Devi, quickly realizes that she can't continue to have sex with other people after they love each other. There is a ton of sex scenes and naughty language, so be forewarned! (It is a book about porn stars, after all!)
This is a mature book that takes listeners through the development, change & maturation of a relationship between a 21 female & 30-year old male. Both were likeable, realistic characters. And I liked that Debbie's dad was of Middle Eastern or South Asia decent. Her parents were a minor focus, but Logan's were barely included in the story. And there was appropriate, realistic (not manufactured) angst. Overall the book was fine, but something just didn't give it anything extra. Thus it didn't hold my attention fully or have me anxious to know what happened next. I don't know why, though it was a bit predictable but told well. Others have & may in the future have a different experience.
It's plenty hot & sexy & not gratuitously beyond the fact that there was also porn-industry sex along w/ relationship sex. Pu**y is said often but 2 b expected, I think. So it wasn't a problem for me. It was also somewhat romantic, at rare moments.
Ultimately, it's a story where love is found through sex or, maybe, love is REVEALED through sex. Nonethless, the author made a good attempt to avoid this common trope, but failed.
The 2 narrators did fine, but each one did both Debbie's & Logan's parts. And this is not always desirable even with 2 good narrators.
