Perfect Story!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend this story to any sci-fi, shifter romance addict! It's a great story, and both the plot and characters were well developed. I really enjoyed the story!

Who was your favorite character and why?

The prince of course! I loved Prince Olek, and how he was so patient with Nadja, even when she frustrated him. He was determined to win her over!

Which character – as performed by Libby Hudson – was your favorite?

I don't have a favorite character that was performed by Libby Hudson; however, I thought she did a really good job narrating this story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely! But I actually had to listen to the story in two days.

Any additional comments?

This is the second book in the series, and it appears books one through four stories are running simultaneously. I'm looking forward to seeing if book four will captivate me as much a books one and two as I plan on listening to them all.

No time lost listening to this story, and even though I used my credit, I suggest taking advantage of whispersync. That's how I plan to buy most of the stories in the series, just a suggestion.

I liked that Mrs, Pillow had added more story, to the story.

I love the dragon lord series, and i especially liked that the heroin doesn't just fall in to the arms of the hero. the story line was really good, and i just couldn't put it away. really worth the price.

Pure enjoyment

Where does Perfect Prince: Dragon Lords Anniversary Edition rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It ranks quite far up. The story was awesome, even though at time I wanted to smack Nadja for being so stubborn, but as the story unfolded, I understood more why she was the way she was.

What did you like best about this story?

The story has dragon shifters, my fave. It had quite a few twists that I didn't expect, made the story more interesting.

What does Libby Hudson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I usually try to stay away from female narrators, they just don't do much for me. But... I was pleasantly surprised by Ms. Hudson's awesome voice, she's got a fan in me. Great pitch, characters easily recognizable with the different tones. Very pleasant to listen to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were quite a few, but the ending stands out when Nadja and Olek finally accept each other fully, their joy was palpable and I loooove happy endings.

Any additional comments?

I liked that scenes from the previous book were recounted from another perspective. It is a great story with lots of depth, suspense, romance and a dash of spice. I am looking forward to listening to the next one. Thank you Ms. Pillow for an awesome book and a great choice in choosing Ms. Hudson to tell it.

Great Heroine

What made the experience of listening to Perfect Prince: Dragon Lords Anniversary Edition the most enjoyable?

I loved how the author tied some of the scenes together for different points of view.

How could the performance have been better?

Less of the narrator taking a breath at the end of a sentence.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

At the end when the heroine had to fight her blood family to save her new family.

What did you love best about Perfect Prince: Dragon Lords Anniversary Edition?

I really love how Michelle Pillow continues the story for each brother. The Perfect Prince is Olek and Nadja's story.

What did you like best about this story?

I totally enjoyed Olek and Nadja's story. They both had challenges. For Olek, since he is part of the Qurilixian Royal family everything came easy to him. Not with Nadja. He really had to fight for her love. For Nadja, trusting people was not easy. Her father is a harsh man and her upbringing very sheltered. She had no friends at all. But she is very, very smart. She knew a lot about plants and what they can do. She really loved learning about all the different plant life on Qurilixian. I really loved how they came together in the end!

What about Libby Hudson’s performance did you like?

I really love how the narrator conveyed their story. She voiced each character's personalitiies. It's really great when the narrator can do this. For me, I really get into the story as I listen to a great narrator. Even though you are not watching the characters, you listen & imagine in your mind just by the way the narrator tells the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Due to Nadja's sheltered upbringing she keeps to herself. She does not want her father to find her & must keep a low profile. It was frustrating at first because she was so stand offish especially to Olek. Although it was understandable why she was the way she was because of her strict upbringing and her strict father.

Olek is one of the princes. He fell for Nadja right off. He was totally enamoured with his new bride. He could not understand why she was so cold towards him. He was so very patient that you did want to command Nadja to get over it & give Olek a chance! Slowly but surely, she warms up to him. He did have to work hard for Nadja's love and in the end it was so worth it! He does learn about her past and it does not matter to him. All he cares about is Nadja.

I am looking forward to the rest of the Royal brothers' love stories!

Perfect, Amazing and Wonderful

Who was your favorite character and why?

Olek is my favorite. He tries so hard to do everything to make Nadja happy and cannot understand what is going wrong.

Have you listened to any of Libby Hudson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Libby Hudson is a great narrator. She always does an amazing job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I almost did listen to this book in one sitting. If my drive would have been longer I would have listened to it all in one sitting.

I love the way everything all adds up together. The series itself is great but you can listen to it only and still follow what is going on.

A Really Perfect Prince!

For all my friends who love: Romance/fantasy/paranormal/sexy/ adventure, strong heroines, hunky gorgeous and very patient heroes this book and series is just for you.

I think all the Dragon Lord Anniversary Books are all phenomenal. The updated series brings more depth, romance, excitement and some added fun

What does Libby Hudson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Libby is a talented narrator who's pleasant voice keeps the story fresh and interesting. Her individual character voices were done well and their feelings and reactions well conveyed.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

How to marry a Dragon Shifting Prince without really trying.

The extra and rewritten scenes are new and refreshing, we get to know the characters more in depth and the world building is even more mesmerizing and defined.

This is my favorite of the dragon lords series. If you don't laugh or cry at some point in this story then something just isn't right.

Perfect Prince -- Perfect Wife?

What made the experience of listening to Perfect Prince: Dragon Lords Anniversary Edition the most enjoyable?

This was a book I had read a while ago. It was so much fun to visit this wonderful world again. I remembered the characters and was reminded of so many aspects of the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Perfect Prince: Dragon Lords Anniversary Edition?

Too many to count. Their courtship was a come/go dance that was fun to watch and enjoy the frustration of the two learning to let their love develop.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I chuckled often with the dialogue and the brothers frustration.

Prince number two, Olek, has a lighter, more mischievous personality than the other brother Princes. Still for Nadja, when she finds out he is a Prince, not a common farmer or country doctor who will keep her anonymity, the beginning of their relationship will be the last if she has any say.
However, after the mating traditions are met she has little say. Nadja knew she was getting on a Brides ship. It was her only option as she escapes from her tyrannical father and the man he has chosen for her husband.
Their fierce desire is difficult to fight and even when they begin to give in enemies of the state intrude. They come to terms and live in relative companionship. She begins to thaw and her fear lessons as she learns what a good man he is. But honesty is important and he continues to protect he by keeping things from her.
Their struggle and family ties are endearing, frustrating and very hot. Mouth watering guys, gorgeous women, war, warriors, enemies and hidden secrets. This one has it all. Good read.

Great story

This was a great story. I enjoyed it and loved the strong female character. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
