Steamy historical romance

Where does Passion for the Game rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Typical plot of misunderstandings keeping star crossed lovers apart. But, add a pirate a woman marked as a black widow and you get comedy, action, and fun listening. If you enjoy a tender romance then this story is not for you.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Passion for the Game?

I loved the costume ball where two Maria's show up.

Have you listened to any of Justine Eyre’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I truly enjoy this narrator and will take a chance on an unknown author if she is narrating.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I had a hard time turning this one off. There are four books in the series.

4 stars - 3 words: HOT GEORGIAN ROMANCE

This book follows Ask For It and is a luscious romantic tale full of tension, intrigue, desire, steamy passion and of course great likeable characters (including a drop dead gorgeous Pirate/Rake). This was one of those books that had my husband complaining because I was walking around with earphones in listening to it all day, half the night and ordering in Pizza.

I love love love Sylvia Day's books but a word of warning: If you don't like sexy listens or lewd language then look elsewhere.

Worth a credit? Yes it would be but for $7.34 I just bought it and saved my credit for a pricier listen.

This was an excellent read. The only thing i did not enjoy was the ascent's of the male characters. The story keeps your interest till the very end. :)

I love her stories!!! can't get enough!!!! They are so hot and steamy!! But will catch me off guard and throw me a curve!!

Good listen

Would have liked more detail on Amelia and Colin. Still a good listen. Looking forward to the next book.

Plot and Passion

An excellent tale of intrigue with a heaping helping of romance. it’s nice to read a romance with a solid plot for a change.

just okay

if you like lots of sex then you'll love this book. the two main characters were unable to not couple every time they were together and the author is quite descriptive in the goings on concerning the act. the book would have been better i think with a different narrator, such a pity she was selected to do the entire series. had i realized that i would never have purchased the series but i did am so i am compelled to stick it out and get through it. mostly i like the stories but dread the listening of it. just another good series ruined by a bad narrator. who chooses the narrators anyway? is it the author, or the publisher, or audible? i have no idea but who ever it is i wonder do they listen to them prior to hiring them, i sincerely have my doubts!

Very enjoyable intrigue steamy sex. I loved Phillip. Justine did great with the voices not sure why book is on sale but I did as previous listeners. Saved the credit and bought all four well worth the cost.
