reviewer's right. Terrible narration

It was hard to get into the book because of the narration & I have the paperback book. I liked the book but kept stopping & hard to get thru this Audible book. It did get easier to listen too & is a good book. Narrator s that can do different voices for the characters & emotion are what make many audible books the best and shine. Then others are good readers & voices but don't have that quality which are fine to listen to & if you haven't heard another great narrator you would think its good. Then there are some that I don't know how they got thru production because the narrator was terrible you want to return or not finish listening. I have to do that to 3 books out of almost 100 I own. This narrator wasn't as bad as I thought when I pushed thru & got use to the voice she just isn't a great narrator. OK. I won't return this book so If you really like the series you will like it. The story is good anyway. Depends on what people are use to & why I really stick to narrators I really like as much as possible.

Horrible HORRIBLE narration

Good GAWD. I'm not trying to sound immature, but this series has a lot of sexual content, which I LIKE. It's why I buy these books, they are romance novels. However, this narrator makes it feel like your grandmother is reading to you. Its cringe worthy. Horrible. Took me 100% out of the story, suspension of disbelief TOTALLY obliterated. I don't know who signed off on this...

Larissa Ione does it again!

This book had a LOT of action, keeping me captivated and feeling like I was a part of it all. I listened to this book (the entire series so far) on audio book. While the story itself was excellent, the narrator left a lot to be desired. She reminded me of Shirley Temple as a child star when she was pouting and talking through pursed lips. I almost quit listening to the audio format and turned to my Nook, but I was painting and needed hands free, so I continued listening. She, Renee Raudman, didn't get any better, but I wasn't as irritated as the story progresses. I wish there were a way to give 4 stars to the story and -1 star for the narrator. But, I can't take off stars because of the narrator, that's just not fair to the author.

This book actually brought 2 couples together, you were hearing about 2 relationships blossoming throughout the whole book. Even though their stories intertwined, both were easily distinguishable. I was glad to see so much wrap up at the end of this book... and so glad to see there is still so much to be told.

Another great addition to the Demonica series. I'm in love with these brothers, and these characters, I can't wait to read the next book!

NOT liking the Narrator

If you could sum up Passion Unleashed in three words, what would they be?

Narrator reminds me of a female version of Bill Murray's character on Caddy Shack. Wish they'd have stuck with Hillary Huber

I always liked the bad boys

Would you consider the audio edition of Passion Unleashed to be better than the print version?

no

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

yes

Any additional comments?

Starting from the begining of the serie, Wraith was my favorite of the brothers. I always like a bad boy with some dark secret. I don't know, something about taming the lion and carefully peeling the wrapper to see the beautiful present within the ulgy wrapper. This book did not disappoint me one bit.

Awesome addition, Narrator and all.

I loved Wraith's story and I loved Gem and Keenan's story too. Man there is some bashing on the narrator from other reviewers, although far from perfect she wasn't that bad. I think as the story progresses the more she improves or maybe I'm just sucked into the story. I have heard her with other books and she does a better job, so maybe she was just trying to hard this time. I love how Wraith learns to become a better man the more he gets to know Serena. Already downloaded the next book.

Narrator could have been better

I think there are more in the series but this book could be the last. Most things seemed to be wrapped up by the end. Well not entirely....but fairly.
This story is Wraith and Serena’s as well as Kynan and Gem’s. More is said about the other brothers as well, so reading the first two books in the series would help. Serena is very likeable and the relationship between Wraith and her is stronger I felt than of Shade and Runa’s.
The narrator was not great. I agree with pretty much all other comments, a different narrator would of helped greatly.
If you can get past that than the story was definitely decent, more was revealed about the brothers, there was the promised steaminess, and more was told of angels/fallen angels than in the previous books.

Narrator is not the best choice for this book

While I love the story, the narrator can pull you out by: not being able to hold an accent, not having a strong female to male range to help keep characters separate, and/or over acting the parts, turning scenes cartoony.

MMM Wraith

So...finally Wraith's story...the bad boy of the bad boys! We have had a build up on Wraith from the first two stories and what we discover about his past only serves to find him more intriguing. The want/need to find him redeemable, to want to hug away the wrongs intensifies as does the HEAT we exudes! I was wishing Serena was a stronger character for him - at times she seemed like an airhead you wanted to shake some sense into. But...overall, a great addition to the saga
