Best-selling author Robyn Carr pens a captivating tale from her Virgin River series in Paradise Valley.

Pushing away everyone close to him, he forsakes the help of his surrogate father, Jack, and his longtime girlfriend, Liz. "Carr pulls out all the emotional stops for the seventh in her popular contemporary-romance saga featuring the drama-rich Northern California mountain community, tying up loose ends while intimating future stories." (Booklist)
This is another great Robyn Carr addition to my library. I love her writing and her characters. I love reading about their ongoing lives. This one in particular was very good. Thank you Robyn Carr. Thank you Audible. I had already bought this book in large print.
I love Robyn Carr's Virgin River series and this one is good but not my favorite. There were 4 different romances going on in this book so it was confusing at times to keep up with each couple. I enjoy having a "main" romance with one sub-plot romance going on but 4 was quite busy. I'm still giving it 5 stars because I love the author and narrator. The two combined cannot miss! You won't waste a credit but it is not as good as the others in the series.
its nice to read a nice love story, where the lovemaking parts are not too erotic, but instead are written in a clean wholesome light, its pretty steamy, but not embarrassingly so. loved it !
Paradise Valley was interesting with different twists and turns! It was definitely a light listen. It was filled with love and laughter! The ending was fantastic!
Love books, preferably romance and suspense. Typically read/listen to 3-5 a week.
Each book is good. I may like one book more than the other, but each story build from the other book and I have so far enjoyed each one. Usually when there is a series of books they start to fade somewhere after two or three, these do not, they get better, more interesting, and you like them all. Each book leaves me panting for more. I see there are other stories that are not yet on audible. Please get them. I can't wait. I have literally fallen in love with Virgin River. The narration is great also; please do not change the narrator. I very seldom give books five stars but this series deserves it.
I love books! Audiobooks take stories to the next level. I'm obsessed with Audible and will try to rate all of my books. Happy Listening! ;)
It shows you the life of a wounded soldier and his psycological journey to emotional recovery. I also enjoyed the powerful love story between Rick and his girl and how she stood by him though the many dark days.
I would compare it to any other Virgin River book. So far I have listened to the first ten books of the series and I love each and every one of them. Robyn Carr is a wonderful storyteller. I specially love how she continues to build the stories of her previous characters. Each book has the love story of a main couple but it also tells you how all the other characters are doing and evolving. You really see the whole town of Virgin River evolving and changing. The Virgin River series is my very favorite romance series.
Therese Plummer is simply the best narrator I've ever listened to. She is just perfect. She is consistent with the voices of the characters throughout all the books. She can do so many voices is just amazing and her voice is just delightful. I would suggest any new audible listener to choose one of her books to experiment because she is just that good. She will hook you up on audiobooks.
Not really. This story is very strong emotionally, it takes to war and it shows you how life is to a wounded soldier. I found it a little strong to listen in just one sitting. The romance takes a while to develop due to how emotionally wrecked Rick comes back from war.
This is just another hit for Robyn Carr and the wonderful Therese Plummer. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romance.
Finally got to listen to this story. Thoroughly enjoy this series. I just wish audible was available sooner. Took this book 9 months from publication to be available in audible.
I was just as excited as the previous reviewers to see two Robyn Carr books come out in the Virgin River series. I enjoyed listening to this book more so than Temptation Ridge. Paradise Valley touched everyone in the series and gave us a view how soldiers who come back from war have to deal with their injuries mentally and physically and how that affects everyone around them.
Paradise Valley is another Virgin River gem. Robyn Carr is an amazing writer who has a gift for developing wonderful stories and endearing characters about whom we care. Therese Plummer is an incredible narrator who makes each character and every scene authentic. I read Robyn Carr's books as soon as they are published and anxiously await the audio version with Therese Plummer as narrator. They cannot come fast enough!!
I have listened to 7 books in this series and I feel like they are family. The story lines keep going just like life without repeating. Can't wait for the next book!
