must read

I started this series just a few days ago and I can't stop. Each book is a stand alone but you do get introduced to additional characters in each book. Joseph and Lilly stole my heart and I hope they will be brought back in future books just so I can see how they are doing.

Hot!

This one will keep you wanting more. The authors are giving us another great listen and the narrators did a great job.

Would you consider the audio edition of Owned to be better than the print version?

I read and listen at the same time. There is such tremendously elevated level of dimension added by having the audio that I cannot imagine and seldom read any book without listening to it. So I am a HUGE advocate of adding more books to Audible.com.

What other book might you compare Owned to and why?

All the books in this "Highest Bidder" series are comparable and I love them all. Each has a unique twist in one way or another that brings a different flavor to it.

Which character – as performed by Douglas Berger and Brooke Hayden – was your favorite?

Joseph was my favorite character; a completely unique individual who ends up in a loving relationship, despite having survived horrendously grotesque life events early on.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Why would anyone go the movies when they can stay home with audio books???

A not to miss read

The Highest Bidder series has been absolutely incredible. Wealthy, Intense, Dominant Men finding their match in a submissive relationship. The details and suspense are engaging, keeping your attention throughout the entire book. The characters are relate-able and you root for the happy ending.

Joseph has taken a risk, the fall to leave the family business. Things didn't quite workout how the "family" thought it would, Joseph still walks free, but no one trusts him. Thats ok with Joseph as he doesn't trust anyone either. He is looking for a submission but not just any submission, he needs someone that will give him her full trust.

Lilly is finding her way in this new world that she craves, but is scared to push herself to actually try. Joseph pushes her and she blooms like the flower that he calls her. She learns to trust him and heal him.

This is an intense read, Lauren and Willow have brought the imagination to life in this book and series. The story is engaging and can leave you breathless.

Great series

Luv this series., very book is different and interesting., makes you want to keep going.

The High

I love the stories where the woman is auctioned and then spends a month pleasing him in theory when it's really her who is having all her fantasies fullfilled.

Not What I Expected

There was more fight in the heroine than expected. She takes risks throughout. I liked her. The dark but handsome brooding hero as expected kept me in the dark almost until the very end. I did like that I could not guess everything. And no cliffhanger and an HEA. Lilly the heroine would love that.
